Heating aside, this is the most comfortable and well fitting hoodie I've ever owned. It's loose where it should be while also being tight where it should be. There's no unnecessary air flow.The power supply is usually kept in a dedicated pouch. Keep in mind it has a belt clip, and if you're going to be working in it for a while, clip it to your belt instead. Thank me later. You can also get an 18v adapter if need be, but keep to the included 12v for general use.Heating is superb, and I often need to keep it on lower settings unless it's a very cold day (single digits or negatives).It's a hoodie, not a water resistant or wind breaking jacket. If you need that, throw a shell overtop. Layers are considerably more efficient anyways.

It made for a great Christmas gift, he really loved it. 6f 170lbs, L size fits well and supports unrestricted movement. It takes about 10 minutes to warm up at first and afterwards it steadily produces good amount of heat. It’s better to charge the battery well before the first use, although it comes charged a little ready to try out. The cut of the sweatshirt looks good, has convenient zip up pockets, the hood fits well also, made of good quality fabric, dense and pleasant to touch.

I bought this Bosch heated jacket instead of a couple of different brands on Amazon because I have several Bosch 12v batteries and several chargers that came with the tools I've purchased. Although many of the other battery-operated heated jackets are less expensive, when you factor in buying an additional proprietary battery or two for the jacket that may or may not even be available next Fall/Winter, the Bosch jacket worked out to be less expensive in my case. It's a very nice jacket. It's finished very professionally, looks good... It's definitely a premium jacket. I'd have no problem comparing the workmanship and finish to my Patagonia or Arc'Teryx softshells. No complaints in that area at all. It heats up quickly and the highest setting can almost be uncomfortably warm if you're not wearing a thick enough shirt. Like all heated gear, the heating elements need to be close to your skin in order to really "feel" the heat. I do wish it had more heated areas. This one has the heated zones across your chest and on your lower back. It would have been nice to have additional heated areas on your upper back and lower front across the hand pockets to help keep your hands warm, but... Heating up that much area would really eat into the battery life. I'm guessing this was the most efficient layout to balance maximum felt warmth with reasonable battery life. If you've never worn heated clothing, if you wear layers or a heavy shirt or sweater underneath or have the jacket open, the jacket isn't going to "feel" warm, which might be the reason it's sized the way it is. I'm a pretty average-build guy and wear an XL jacket in just about any brand to give me room to wear it over something. XL's typically fit a little loose on me. The XL in this jacket barely fit over my shoulders and was uncomfortably tight. I do think Bosch intends this to fit a little more snug to keep the heating elements close to your body so you can feel the heat, but the XL was too small for me. The 2XL fit me in the shoulders a little better and is a smidge larger around the waist than the XL. However, even going up to a 2XL, I'm still not going to be able to wear a fleece or sweater under this. You should definitely go up a size if you plan on wearing this over anything but the thinnest of shirts or, if you have broad shoulders, go up two sizes.As with every review, this has been my personal experience with two of these jackets. Your milage may vary.

I'm a fan of Bosch power tools. That plus the generally positive reviews on this heated jacket made it a no brainer for me. I received the jacket, fully charged the battery and was expecting a nice warm experience. Wrong. The jacket barely felt warm to the touch after an hour. Surely the one I received was defective, so I sent it back. I got the same jacket as a replacement and had the same disappointing result. What a piece of junk! The Bosch people should be embarrased to put their logo on this thing. Don't waste your time or money.

I think this works great. Three heat zones, it runs a bit on the small side which i decided worked best so the heating pads are snug against me. If you conceal carry expect this to print. If you open carry low ride this works a bit better. While working it provides good mobility, i didnt find myself wishing there was more room. A reminder, this is a hoodie. Not a jacket. If i paired it with my carhartt rain defender insulated zip up hoodie going over it this cut down on the wind coming through and helped retain more heat. I dont so much wear jackets as i do later hoodies so this was a solid purchase and is the first hoodie i put on now lol

Jacket is comfortable and the material that is made off is good quality but the battery life is not. I fully charged couple of times and made sure that it was carged but it only last two hours the most on the low seting. I thought maybe the battery was bad so i used one of my impact battery, same thing. Didn't last not even twoo hours. very disappointed 😞

This hoodie is super comfortable, I felt like the heat wasn't high enough first couple times using it, now that I put it to the test it's lovely.I work as a telecommunications technician climbing poles and spending great deals of time outdoors, it's nice to just press a button and remain warm during the time I am outdoors.

Looks pretty good, gets warm enough for most spring and fall and im sure ut could stand ip to canadian winters if you had another coat over top. Already had bosch 12v tools so i had some batteries but if you dont you can get decent knock offs for like 20 bucks. This thing eats batteries for dinner on high but its worth it. Fits weird if you zip it all the way up or put the hood up but i dont do that often anyway so no biggie. A chest pocket would be nice. Its cool that they put a hole in the battery pocket for a charger but it just gets caught on my knifes pocket clip on occasion. I like yo keep a spare battery in the right pocket to balance the coat out (it shifts to the left because of the weight of the battery otherwise) and for extra power. Over all worth it but id love to see bosch take this into consideration if they make a v2.
