So glad to have this gem on Bluray! Amazing actors, relatable story of friendship extending past school days, and one of the most killer soundtracks ever. Definitely recommend to any who know a good story!

This film has a top notch cast, great story, excellent direction and an amazing soundtrack;. The cast Glenn Close, William Hurt, Mary Kay Place, Kevin Kline, Jeff Goldblum, Tom Berenger, JoeBeth Williams and Meg Tilly is like the fantasy football team of actors. All the best of their generation.

We used this product on a new 85 inch Sony 4K TV. Considering the movie was released in 1983, the remastered BlueRay disk was surprisingly good to watch. However, newer BlueRay disks are superior.

Great movie about friends coming back together because of tragedy. Not a movie that I think the younger generation would get. However, for us older folks, we get it perfectly.

Defective! Grainy and terrible quality. Was really looking forward to the special features, several of which did not even work. Very disappointed, sending this back!

This is a great older movie about a group of college students who reunite and spend the week together after one of their friends commits suicide. The music is great. There is a great scene where they are just sitting around in the kitchen loading the dishwasher and dancing. Great cast. There is also a music CD.

Great movie, great cast. Being southern though, I do get a kick out of Kevin Kline's worst attempt at an accent. Does Hollywood think all Southerners sound like Texas-light? This was set on the Southern Atlantic seaboard.

if you're over the age of 50 and have never seen this movie, go watch it! old college friends gather for the funeral of one of them. he committed suicide. it is mostly a nostalgic, sad picture. But this is a fun movie too thanks to the music m great actors, good chemistry between them. this disc contains some extras;

A legendary classic film, with a superb cast. This version is clean and clear and has a number of excellent extras, including extensive cast interviews from the 1998 documentary and even a years later on-stage reunion. Although it is inevitably dated in some ways, if you see it in its period context and the fact that its elegiac qualities are the result of the death of one of the close-knit group, it really holds up very well. Highly recommended.

This DVD is exactly the same as the movie. It is one of our favourite movies. We also love the extra disc with e.g. interviews and deleted scenes. This DVD will be watched many times in our home.

Awesome movie, love the movie sound track. I have viewed this movie many times before. It's awesome to have a copy of my own!
