Like that the connector is recessed
I used these to move the antennae for a wireless microphone to be outside the rack. Since this is what I use for mobile DJ gigs, it needed to be protected from accidental damage, which these are. I don't notice any sonic difference when using these jacks as opposed to the built-in ones on the back of my receiver, and moving the antennae to be outside the case gets me better reception. These work and seem to be well designed and sturdy. Worth the price.

A very specific thing
This probably isn't the thing you think you need. You think it is, but probably it isn't. If it actually is, it's perfect. True 3.0? Who can say? But my pedal board has 2 amps of USB power for whatever I want with zero noise. How cool! Just trying to take up the other d-series jacks. Blank off make me mad.

D-series holes are 15/16”
You’ll need a 15/16” (23.8mm) drill if you didn’t realize this is for D-series punch out holes. There’s less than 1/16” to the mounting holes, so best to do on metal. Screws are also not included, but it sounds like most people are using this with products that already have the holes, cover plates, and existing screws.
