I ordered this builder's gel specifically for encapsulating nail art. As another reviewer noted, the bottle was sealed shut and I had to use pliers to get it open. The gel is thinner than most builder gels, but it's also self-leveling and really easy to work with...I love how clear it is when cured! I tried the gel out on a couple of different test nails with various levels of chunky nail art. With only 1-2 coats I was able to fully encapsulate all the nails shown. I was especially pleased with the single coat used on my foil leopard design! It took about 120 seconds to fully cure, but the clarity and even coverage is amazing. Add the top coat and voila! As for use as a true builder gel with acrylics...this is too thin IMO. I only recommend this for encapsulating sparkly, shiny bling!

This has the perfect consistency for building a nail, thick, but workable, doesn't run. I did notice that it takes a bit longer than 60 seconds to fully cure/harden, which I did find odd because clear gels usually cure super fast.Not sure yet how it compares to my favorite builder gel. if this product cracks or peels prematurely, I will update my review.

I wanted to try this because I tried Poly gels and they were just too much of a pain for me. I just couldn’t figure it out getting the thickness right and all that so I gave up. But, I do love clear Poly gel for encapsulating nail art. But, I saw this and thought it would be perfect to give a try for my nails instead of Poly gels, and I figured it would be great for encapsulating nail art too.This works nicely to give me a little extra length. I like my nail length like just over my nail bed. Nothing too long. This worked perfect for me to do that. I was able to get it so it wasn’t too thin, but wasn’t too thick either. It looked great and lasted great!I also had a nail that I had damaged when I was doing some work and it was thinned out on the tip because of the damage. I put a thin layer of this on it and it helped thicken it so it wouldn’t break or split while it grew out again! It was great for that!This also works perfect for encapsulating my nail art! I put some dried flowers on my nail and used this to encapsulate them and it worked beautifully!Overall, this is great! I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking to add a little length, add some thickness to your nails if they’re too thin, or to encapsulate nail art!

I couldn't even use it, it's sealed shut. There's no way to open it. 👎
