National Hardware N195-792 3211BC Swivel Single Pulley in Zinc plated,2 Inch

Using 4 of these to lift and hang front end of my extension ladder overhead in my boat shed. One at overhead beam, one on 2d ladder rung, and then 2 going off at about a 45 degree angle to a cleat on post. These pulleys are huge improvement over 4 small ones in previous use. Now effortless lift of the ladder front end. AND, they do not bind (one of other reviews seemed to indicate useage at other than straight they did). 3/8 inch nylon rope works great on these. Will be purchasing 2 more to replace 2 smaller pulleys on other end of ladder.

Bought this pulley to replace the "Not so great" factory supplied pulley on my new Total Gym. It looks great, and for the price, it’s reasonable. When ordering, you need to refer to the measurements/dimensions page to ensure the correct size. Since I've purchased this pulley, I have purchased other brand items to improve other attachments for my gym.Update: January 19, 2020I purchased this pulley to replace the O.E.M. Leg exercise pulley on my Total Gym. Only after just a few minutes, I realized that this pulley wasn’t going to work as I had planned. This pulley does not have a true roller bearing, but a bushing that is pressed into the wheel center. This "Bearing"; technically called a powdered metal bushing, a bearing in which it doesn't have any rolling elements. Simply stated; It's a bushing that is impregnated with a type of oil. It seems if you don’t have a direct downward force on it; by it not being tilted or being used in the horizontal position, it might work fine. But, using it as I was trying to, the pulley binds up inside of the housing; making loud squeaking sounds, while it tries to spin the center pin out. Not exactly what I had intended to happen. I have seen online that other folks are using the Campbell brand equivalent pulley for the same purpose as I. I wonder if the brand would make a difference.... As far as dimensions and photos go, they look the same, but maybe it would work differently from the National brand pulley....

I have to tell anyone that will read this, that these 3" NH zinc swivels are bad to the bone... I was looking at other expensive swivels when all I was trying to do is lift a TJ hard top and these swivels are more than ample. Heavy duty construction, they swivel easily, and there is no stiffness on the roll ( just a flick of the finger and they roll super easy ) Forget about shipping (AWESOME), received in a couple of days and was delivered on a SUN. Now I can finish my project !!! Thanks Amazon for the PRIME EXPERIENCE !!!!! Will continue to be a Prime member ......

For cable weight device. Works fine.

I have high shelves installed in my garage with 12 foot ceilings. I installed eye bolts at strategic locations for this pulley. I can now hoist my Xmas decorations high and out of the way until the following year with ease. Pulley has bearings that allows me to pull the load easily with 1/2 inch rope.

Overpriced but works.

I am currently using this pulley as part of a home gym cable system. I have used many other pulleys in the past including those found in the local hardware stores. This is by far the best, strongest, and most quiet of the pulleys I have used. I highly recommend it for my purpose, but I would not hesitate to recommend it for any other task within its prescribed weight rating.

National MFG pulley's are always well made and last. I've built countless projects that have used these of various sizes. The removable pin is nice so you can pull the unit apart and put it on an existing line without threading the end through it. Just pull the cotter pin, remove the shaft pin and drop the pulley out.
