This is a great idea, however, when the light and zapper are on at the same time, the bugs go for the very bright light only. When the light is off and they go for the dim blue light zapper, larger moths rarely go inside because they cannot fit between the plastic safety guard. The moths cluster on the outside which blocks smaller insects from entering.This bulb is so large that I had to use a socket extension to have it hang below my exterior fixture. This was not intended for any kind of recessed fixture. Not a bad thing because it is easier to pull the catch plate out for cleaning. The small skinny broom like brush, that was included, is the perfect fit to clean off dead bugs from the zapper metal grid. Do NOT misplace the cleaning brush. YES the bugs do die, but most of the get stuck. YUCK! Every day cleaning recommended because it is a small unit.I would have returned this if my Hubby hadn’t chucked the box.My large zappers are much more useful.

It didn't work where I wanted it initially because it was bigger then I thought. But put it in a different spot and it works it has three modes but I use the bug zapper part mainly.

Works and it led bulb is surprisingly bright good construction.

The UV light is dim and it seems to catch more of other insects than mosquitoes. Also, the clean out tray is difficult to remove.

This is a better quality light (color temp) than a different brand I used previously. The zapper works pretty well. I've had to slightly modify it for use against swarmer termites but it does well in that application.

I like the added touch of the little drawer to catch the bug fragments

There's literally a bee dancing around on the wires and mocking me. I do not think it's working! It does gets two stars because it does light up.
