It would be helpful to have access to different coloured chalks. I bought this for marking hems on wedding dresses that come to me for alteration, by the white chalk does not show up at all. I have used it for hemming curtains, though, and it worked pretty well.

Glad to have it.
Works well but hard sometimes to get close enough because my feet and its feet want the same spot on the floor. However, I don’t know how else it could be made. Just a suggestion to the seller—maybe you could include a small packet of blue chalk with it. White doesn’t work very well on white! I know you can buy the blue chalk but it’s a big package and pricey.

Chalk line is not particularly clear as it ends to shoot a large quantity of chalk at once creating a smudge .
