Bought these sandals last spring and I liked the fit. Since I live in Minnesota, I only wore them 4 months and then swapped them out for snow boots. This spring I wore them 3 times and the heel strap pulled out of the sole of the shoe. Now they are trash. Less than five months of wear, they even still look almost new but they came apart. What ever happened to something called quality?

When I got these the fit and finish looked great. They were very comfortable and didn't require breaking in. After a couple of weeks the foam insole has undergone permanent compression at main pressure points. I can't replace the insole so these shoes quickly become uncomfortable when walking or standing for any major length of time.

Way too pricey for any real perceptible added comfort afforded compared to my earlier $20 sandals from Payless that lasted for over 3 years.
