DatexxTimeCube Plus Preset Timer with 4 LED Light Alarm for Time Management, with Countdown Settings and Adjustable Volume Red DF48

We own 4 of these little timers which have worked well to date. One recently went on the fritz exhausting battery power regardless of the state (on, off, lights, alarm etc) within 24 hrs. A behavior distinctly different from that of the other three which last for weeks with a single battery change. This unit has been in use for 100 days. Upon contacting the vendor, for a return/repair I was very politely told all requests for exchange/replacement must be within 30 days. Likewise Amazon's A-Z guarantee is for 90 days.Call me an anachronism if you wish but I remember well when a guarantee meant an assurance of the quality of or the length of use to be expected from a product offered for sale often with a promise of reimbursement or repair and that time was at minimum a year.I recently had the opportunity to call upon another vendor of an electronic item I had purchased. The product was 2 1/2 years in use when it malfunctioned. The vendor true to there word replaced the item immediately and had the humility to apologize for my inconvenience! Now it is true the product was advertised with a 5 year warranty where the product under review is not.Have we really gotten to the point in our disposable society that 90 days is all we can reasonably expect as the serviceable life of our purchases? I for one feel it is high time consumers like us called for change! For my part I will be contacting vendors in advance of my purchases to clarify what they are offering as a guarantee.

Das Ding funktioniert zuverlässig und unauffällig (ich habe vorher ein Vorgänger-Modell bestellt, es blinkt knallrot beim Countdown) Man sieht, wie viel Zeit noch bleibt und am Ende kommt ein akustisches und/oder visuelles Signal. Die Größe und Gewicht sind sehr angenehm, liegt gut in der Hand und ziemlich leicht.

25分と5分の組み合わせで30分の作業をするのに使いやすかった。ときどき調整で20分も組み合わせられるし無駄が少ない。決まった時間なら普通にタイマーで設定するより転がすだけで良くて手軽で楽に使えてとても良かった。

32日目で故障するも1年間保証で無償で新品を即送ってもらえたので、★5。商品自体はとても使い勝手が良く、継続的に勉学に励む際に重宝させて頂いてるので、満足しており、感謝しています。故障後、取扱説明書に記載のメールアドレスに正常に使用していたが故障の旨、購入から1年以内であることを伝えたら、即対応してもらえて、翌日には新品を発送いただけました。商品取扱会社(デイテックスジャパン合同会社の佐藤代表)が対応くださり、その対応の良さや、文面から丁寧さと品位が感じられ、且つ迅速に対応する姿勢に感動しました！とても良い対応も、★5つの理由です！故障したのはTimeCube(DF-48 赤色)。

This cube plus is not worth buying as it cannot even tolerate the wrong battery insertion. Especially for the price one spends to buy this product.
