As a passionate guitarist, I've had the pleasure of experimenting with many pedals, and the Darkside stands out as a true gem in the world of effects.The fuzz is raw, reminiscent of a late 70's OP amp Muff and unapologetically rich, The delay is beautifully ambient, and the modulation and reverb add depth and complexity to my soundThis is going to spend a lot of time on my board.

It's a great pedal and deserves 5 stars - if you're curious you should YouTube videos of it as they will be immensely more useful than what can be written in a product review. But beware about buying this pedal if you are trying to buy the pedal that's actually advertised on the product page. I'm writing this so people are aware that it is actually version 2 of this pedal being sold, not version 1. Version 1 is what is pictured on the ad and also the product description mentions a TRS input for reversing the fuzz/modulation and adding other effects in the signal chain in between the two effects. Version 2 just has a switch to reverse the fuzz/modulation. It is still a great pedal, but if what sold you was the ability to add more pedals between the two effects, avoid buying it through Amazon because you won't know what you are getting.

I love this pedal; the amount of effects it has creates limitless possibilities, and I'd recommend any guitar player get their hands on this. It sounds amazing, functions amazing, and adds a lot more to your arsenal. It makes my Squire Strat sound amazing.

Cool workstation but that’s where it ends. The effects are decent, and you can mix 2 at a time. But only the 2 in that side of the switch. You can’t use delay with any other effects, which means if you want delay with say flanger, you gotta have an extra delay pedal. Or vice versa. The fuzz is good, but nothing you can’t get with a Rams Head. Small footprint, big headache for gigging out. You’d spend more time dialing in than playing. Would be perfect for setting up at home on a stand where it’s easier to access the features, rather than bending down to change and dial in. It’s A GOOD PEDAL. Don’t get me wrong. But if you are looking for something you can “set and forget” this isn’t the pedal for you. You have more control over separate stomp boxes. And will probably spend roughly the same as the price tag on this guy, if you buy decent clones. Not being able to use delay in the mix is a real let down. Being the majority of Gilmours sound WAS delay. They made a pedal for a while to simulate the delay on this, but can’t find one and they are another 200 plus if you can. It may be the best thing on the market for some people. But wasn’t my favorite. Nothing against the company. It’s a solid pedal, that sounds good. Just too much fiddling around for me.

This was a birthday gift for my guitar playing daughter. She was wanting this pedal sooooo badly! She is beyond thrilled with it and the sound effects. Sorry if I’m not using the proper musician / technical talk. All I know is that she is very happy with it. I don't need any other pedals anymore! Once you get use to using it (not hard) you'll understand.

Great pedal. You have to experiment to get the best out of it. Get an expression pedal with it if you use it live.

It's very ambitious to try to build one small pedal that can emulate a range of 70s-era David Gilmour guitar tones, but that's what Keeley have done here, and it's a pretty good effort.It's not perfect. You can't have delay and modulation active at the same time; some of the setting combinations generate some noise; an additional compressor is probably necessary. That having been said, this pedal is very good. It takes a bit of tweaking, but it is possible to get some pretty authentic sounds, and also to go to places that Gilmour didn't, if you want.I'd suggest that potential buyers look at the many YouTube demos available, because it's difficult to convey what it can do via the medium of text, but I am very happy indeed with this pedal and would happily recommend it.

Etant un grand fan des Pink Floyd et du son de gilmour, je recherchais une pédale comme celle-ci qui regroupe les effets utiliser sur certains album en l'occurrence l'album dark side of the moon. Je doit dire que cette pédale est excellente et grace à elle, je me rapproche du son assez bien du son de dsotm. Bon investissement.

Awesome pedal for the price. The capabilities are endless and get an expression pedal added to it and you can really go off into The Dark Side Of The Moon!!!
