Fair warning, this is ADDICTING! I love that I don’t have to mix anything to use the resin, and I can leave it out for a while if I’ve mixed a color I like without worrying it’ll harden in the container. The mix-ins that come with this kit are a good starter assortment, including flowers, plastic fruit shapes, and glitters. I would have loved a couple other colors, like a neutral palate as well (black, white, and brown), so I could mix even more colors and shades. The pigments that came are highly concentrated, though, and a little goes a long way. I also love the MANY uses I’ve found. I make jewelry anyway, and this stuff is proving more fun and versatile than I thought it would be. Christmas gifting and craft sales just got a WHOLE lot easier!

I bought this set for my daughter and it’s a great simple start kit but the directions are very basic . They don’t tell you how to use everything. We had to go online and pull up videos as to what to do. There is a roll of sticky film they don't tell you sticky side up or sticker side down. It’s up by the way. Kinda for beginners but have to be smart enough to figure out some of it.

The light is a micro light and is very small.

I bought this kit to use for painting over miniatures with resin. It worked perfectly. I still have left over resin to use to make some pendants and other fun things.

Everyone that has said this UV Resin is sticky is absolutely correct!! It literally never cures so I don't know if it's the resin, the UV lamp included or what!? But it is Frustrating!! I've tried, more times than I'd like to admit, to make it work and best case scenario you can use as a clear some on pieces. It doesn't work well with colors, the resin kinda cures but the paint doesn't!?I thought and have seen others use UV with colors in their molds, enabling them to obtain such great detail! I was so disappointed because there's NO WAY you can or should, use this UV Resin in your molds! I've already ruined a few of mine. Another odd thing is, I really think this stuff evaporates!? And it definitely does under the UV lamp, it shrinks or shriveles is a better description. This of course requires more of it and never a decent result.I do like some of the accessories and mold that comes with but still questioning the UV light strength. Definitely not for beginners.

Okay, I wanted to give this 5 stars, but I can’t. Now, the resin is good quality, it cures quickly with very low odor. Sure. But understand, it’s a BEGINNER kit. When using the silicone molds, know that the bottom of the mold will be the face of your final project.

So I thought this was going to be a great deal. But so much I didn’t like about it. The uv resin is super smelly! And the resin doesn’t seem to get hard at all even with the super tiny uv light. The resin is tacky after being under uv light. The glitter and other items that came in this bundle was good. Honestly I was going to return once I used resin and saw the Uber tiny uv light.

I am just starting using polymer clay so this is the first resin I have purchased. This kit is AWESOME. When ordering, I didn't really look at the items included, I was just focused on the resin so when this arrived I thought there had to be a mistake because this kit has SOO much stuff. And the amazing thing is that it is all useful, ESPECIALLY for someone just starting out. You could make a ton of stuff just with the included items. As for the resin, I have been so pleased with it. There is no learning curve at all and the results have been beautiful. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this kit.
