Really Clears Up Chafing
I have three small children now who love to play outdoors in the summer heat. As a consequence, no matter how many baths they take, they end up with chafing of some kind, somewhere. And sometimes, it hurts. I've found that Desitin is great for more than just diaper rash (though it's the best for that, too). After a cleansing bath, a layer of Desitin really clears up any chafing my toddlers might have. I love that the only active ingredient in zinc oxide and the inactive ingredients are kept to a minimum. There's nothing dangerous in this cream or I wouldn't be using it on my toddlers. I put it on any chafing they have in the evening, and by the next morning, the pain and redness is gone. Another layer, and it's cleared up completely, without harmful medicinal products. It even works for adults. I recently spend a day in the hot (close to 100 F. sun) and I found I had some painful, red chafing on my underarm. After my nightly bath, I applied a layer of Desitin, and the chafing immediately stopped burning, and was cleared up by morning. I can't recommend this product more highly for babies, toddlers, and even adults for chafing anywhere. It feels great, it heals fast, and it's not going to cause any harm. This is something moms can rely on for their children and for themselves.

Amazing on diaper rash.
I don't know what's in Desitin but it WORKS. Is there nothing that Zinc Oxide works on? We also buy a sunscreen product that uses primarily zinc.Whenever the little one has any signs of diaper rash, I immediately use Desitin and it disappears the next morning LIKE MAGIC. It is some crazy powerful cream, I kid you not!

New parents: buy this!
Parents, do yourself a favor and buy this! This product works wonders when my son gets a little redness on his bottom. The redness is always gone the next morning. I usually do not have to apply this product two days in a row. My 15-month-old son has never had a serious diaper rash. This is the only diaper cream we have used since he was born. We have no plans of switching!
