I didn’t know I needed a base coat

I ordered 3 colors - metallic silver coarse, candy red, and sparkle pearl purple. The picture is the purple sprayed over a black base. Seems that the can I bought was a bad batch. I mixed and shook the can very well multiple times but never got any purple color until the very end of the can. The silver and red paint was great

there is Nothing I did not like about this paint.One 12 oz can covered my fender with three even coats.I was able to match up a 20-year-old paint job. Following the directions is key.Three-stage paints are very time consuming.I sprayed my base from an HVLP gun,The following day I scuffed it, cleaned it all off and laid my first coat of the sparkle purple Pearl holding the can about 8 inches away and sprayed it even non-stop pattern.It took about 12 minutes for the paint to dull out then I repeated the steps two more times.I then waited the one hour for it to harden then I sprayed the clear the same way.TimeWise all in all it took about 2 hours to spray one fender. But it came out very nice.

Product came out very nicely on my ASA plastic, I prepped with a sandable primer and then applied the paint. I did 4 nice coats and it produced a beautiful finish. Topped it off with a cheap rustoleum clear coat and it turned out even better surprisingly.

The color is gorgeous but don't expect one can to go real far. I ended up finding a pint of this to use in my pnuematic sprayer. Once doing that I was able to finish my project with enough paint to touch up mistakes and even out coverage.

Loved itm will be buying bigger cans of this stuff. Turned out better than I ever imagined I didn't even use promer. Only prep done was decreaser.... use a 2k clearcoat though. Easy as pie and took only 30 minutes to do this.

It’s not paint is just glitter

This product was supposed to be purple sparkle. It's all sparkle.. there is no purple.. I am wondering if it was a messed up batch
