My Chihuahua had scabby paws which developed for unknown reasons and persisted for a few weeks. I applied this paw butter over two days and after the first application the scabs started to disappear and after day two his paws were normal and the fur on them looked very smooth and healthy. He liked licking it too but with a distraction of a dog chew he lost interest in his feet. The butter smells lovely and I found a little goes a long way. Worked really well and saved an expensive vet visit.

Lovely paw butter, soothing and moisturising, my onIy con is that it hasn't improved her rough paws as much as I would like after a few months use (using it every other day). It smells wonderful and is obviously tasty, she licks most of it off 😂. I'd rebuy it, as of the few we've tried this has been the best.

Our dog Jake the Jack Russell recently injured his paw somehow and after spending vast quantities at the vets and taking out a second and third mortgage for the purpose we were given one of those ''silly'' yet effective lamp shade style things to stop him chewing and worrying at his paw. This worked, although not practical for all day and night long so we were told to put a bootie covering on his paw. We did this, yet his paw got extremely dry and painful looking. After buying and applying''I Love Pet Head'' the dryness became less as the days went by. The product seems to sooth and moisten his paws, but also stops him from licking them as I don't think he enjoys the taste, which is great as my dog will usually eat anything. It also smell beautiful and is easy to apply. It's well worth a try as I can't fault it; just ask my dog Jake and he'll tell you woof woof.

Having a long haired GSD and needing to regularly remove fur from between her paw pads, it can occasionally be problematic with matting from debris collecting between her paws, especially as she walks a lot. We have a routine of cleaning off her paws when it's been particularly wet or soaking them when it's been very dry walking out with her. Once done, we put this stuff on and it's actually really very good. It seems to keep her pads moisturised while at the same time stopping them cracking around the edges.While we don't over pamper our dog, we don't want her to feet to feel irritated after lots of long walks so we usually stick some on hre feet every couple of days and it seems to do the trick. Given the oatmeal base of the product, it doesn't cause her to lick her paws much either like she did prior to using this. Therefore, she's not drying her paw pads out by over self cleaning.It's a product I recommend and for the price it lasts fairly well if you use it appropriately and don't go overboard. All in all a fairly good product.

Ok, so one of my dogs loves this stuff, she lays back, has a snooze and lets me smooth this onto her dry paws. My other dogs hates having this slathered on, it is what it is, some dogs hate having their paws touched.This gets absolute top stars for the following reason1. It works. My dogs paws are silky smooth with all cracks disappearing after only two days of use2. It smells absolutely delicious. Like seriously good enough to eat. No wonder so many users report their hounds nibbling this off their feet. It’s already rid my dogs paws of that odd cheese Doritos smell they seem to develop. It also has a lovely texture, melting from a wax into an oil that is really easily absorbed in an instant3. This is the only thing - ever- that I have rubbed into my severe hangnails and very unhealthy cuticles that has EVER worked. That’s right. In a moment of madness I tried this on my fingers. I’ve smoothed this on a couple of times a day for the last few days, and the skin on my hands is the healthiest it’s been in years.So it gets a total thumbs up from me. For less than £5 I’ve fixed both mine and my dogs crusty paws. A win win if you ask me.

It works for the dogs dry elbows to an extent but he really tries too eat it so it must tastes good. I use it when he is in a deep sleep on the sofa. I used it on my hand so he gets used to the scent around. has a very strong caramel cake scent. Excellent for my dry skin and cuticles.

This product is quite simply, amazing. Our young Rottie developed incredibly cracked paws which in turn he would chew at and make worse, resulting in a never ending circle of vet visits, salt water bathing, allergy testing, antibiotics etc etc ... he was miserable, my wallet was miserable.... and then I chanced upon this product. I read the glowing reviews and thought, it has got to be worth a try! .... The results are incredible.. truly. Within just a couple of days his paw pads really started to soften and smooth .. the paw butter is easy to apply, easily absorbed, smells great and you soon get into the routine of massaging it in ( I tend to do this when my dog is relaxed and curled up next to me on the sofa, as he then is focused more on sleeping than trying to lick at the butter ... don't worry too much though, as I said, it quickly absorbs into the pad itself ). The key is to keep applying and we do this daily - you don't need to use much - the product is reasonably priced and lasts for quite some time. Hope this review helps someone else who is struggling like we were :)

Lovely smelling, creamy butter that is easy to apply and seems ideal for cracked paws. Unfortunately my dog loves it so much that he licks it off as fast as I can put it on him!I had tried a different paw cream and this one has a much nicer texture for applying and massaging into the pads. It seems to be absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave an oily, slippery pad.Would definitely recommend to others and still massage it in for as long as I can before I let him lick his paws again as I am convinced that the dry, cracked pads are improving.Would have given 5 stars if he didn’t like to lick it off so quickly.
