CareMail Recycled Self-Seal Rugged Mailers, Padded Envelopes, 14 x 18.75 Inches, 25 Pack (1118685)

This is a nice durable package, and it was at a good price point for me.I did run into a couple of flaws with these though. 1) It is very humid here, and one day I put it in the mailbox fairly early in the morning and the condensation from the mailbox disintegrated a corner of the packaging...so I had to repack. Not a big deal, I could have just put it out later in the day.... 2) I was shipping very small parts of things, and when it came to do the postage I totally forgot to take in account the weight of the envelope, which is pretty hefty for its size. You will definitely need to take this in consideration.Protection wise, this package seems like it could take a beating and the contents would survive....unless it was water.

I've been using these mailers for two years in my book business. I've received books by mail that were in cheap, thin, non-padded mailers and the books often arrived in bad shape, roughed up from shipping and handling. If they'd been packaged better, I don't think they would have suffered as much. Since I'd prefer no returns in my business, I use these recycled mailers. Though they are expensive in the short-term for my itty-bitty budget, in the long term, I think they save me money because the product arrives in good shape. I love how sturdy the material is and that you can open the mailer so easily on the back with that one strip.

I own a photography business and settled on these to mail my client disks. I like that they are made from recycled material and they are recyclable after they are used. I feel much better about using these than using bubble-padded envelopes that have to go in the trash!The envelopes are well constructed and heavy duty. I have been using them for the better part of a year and haven't had a single complaint from a client about their disk arriving with any problems. My branding stickers stick to the surface of the envelope well and don't curl up at the corners. No additional tape is required to hold the envelope closed, as the self-adhesive strip is very strong.I will continue to use these envelopes!

I love these mailers! I am a professional photographer and I send all my clients their images in these things. They have a great texture and have a lot better feel than the standard creme padded mailer.My only complaint is that I just really wish they would remove the address lines on the front and reduce the size of the logos, etc. on the back. This would help the mailer look "cleaner" and the simple brown paper would stand out better.

I love theses and use them a lot the only down side is I find they are definitely one use and seem to have a short life span as I have gotten an occasional return from USPS and they seem to start to break down over time. Which is probably great for the environment but I have had tape up returns that had to go back out and once or twice even re-pack them but the do have a nice amount of padding for a good price.

This product has really treated me well for the following: DVDs, CDs and Video Games.I do have a concern of the outside of the packaging tearing a bit and losing the fill of the package in that area. This could cause the item inside to be damaged (although this hasn't happened to me yet).Also, there are supposed to be 25 mailers in the box, but mine came with 24, not the biggest deal in the world, but still a bit annoying.

I needed some padded mailers, but didn't like the ones I usually see that are filled with either bubble wrap or shredded material of some sort and aren't recyclable. I poked around on Amazon and found these. They seem very solid, have a nice little tear strip to make it easier for the recipient to open, etc. They seem perhaps not quite as padded as the bubble wrap ones, but the material is somewhat stiffer than the bubble wrap mailers which should add some protection.

I have been using these mailers for eight years to ship my books and love them. Made in USA, padded with biodegradable materials, and just right for my shipping needs. They are strong and arrive in good condition. The seal is good. I like the tab to allow the receiver to easily open it.
