It's salt, not sure what else to say
Ordered this when I was high off my ass and jealous of horses having salt licks. Ended up giving it to my rabbit when it arrived instead of hoarding it to lick in secret. He occasionally licked it, sometimes took small bites. Tossed it when moving because it got dirty. Probably won't order another one, just not something he likes, but I'm sure some pets would love a salt lick.

Wood and rope are dangerous for your dog
I have a 10lb Morkie whose toys last forever. He tends to lick our legs after we’ve been outside sweating so I thought this would be a perfect toy for him. Within a minute of giving it to him, he had chewed the wood piece attached to it into dangerous shards. We removed that and gave it back and within minutes he had shredded the rope all over our carpet. Removed that and he could care less about the salt lick. Bottom line, if you do want to buy it to try, definitely remove the wood and rope.

Big size difference
So I just got these and my bunnies haven't tried them yet.. BUT I'm already a little annoyed. I realize that no two pieces will be identical but one piece is a lot smaller than the other! I feel like I got one and a half as opposed to two pieces. Maybe I'm being a little silly but these little guys weren't cheap! I've ordered a 6 inch salt lamp for the same price.

Good Salt For Bunnies
My bunnies are enjoying this and thought the rope hanger and wood hook were icing on the cake! This is a fun addition to their normal salt wheels.

My rabbit is obsessed with this salt lick!
I have a geriatric bun who has always loved salt licks. However, of all the ones she's had throughout her lifetime, this is by far her favorite. Plus, I love the appearance. It's just kind of... pretty. :)

Great product. My chinchilla loves it!
This is a high quality product. I only use this type of salt for myself so when I saw it for pets, it was a no brainer! Himalayan salt is extra healthy as it contains approx 50 minerals in addition to the sea salt so it is very well balanced. Before I could even get a chance to hang the salt, my chinchilla started chewing on it! It was as if she knew she was lacking in some of the minerals as she has always had a regular white pet salt lick in her cage and certainly did not need just salt. The only down side is I needed to put it on a chain to hang as, with any chewing pet, the wood hanger and string would be chewed quickly! Still a 5 star item!!!

TINY and deceptive! 6 inches counts the rope.
Apparently, I cannot return this even though it is Prime item. What a waste of money. This is sized for a dwarf hamster. The advertised size is INTENTIONALLY DECEPTIVE as it include the rope itself.

Great salt lick, unless it’s for a gerbil
Great product, definitely not for gerbils though. Chewed through the rope and hook in one day. Works fine for hamster, and looks nice.

Very pleased: )
My guinea pig absolutely loves salt.. and this is much nicer looking than a traditional salt wheel! It has a lovely wooden hook/rope to hang on the side of the cage and it is a huge chunk of salt. Very pleased :)

Love!
My guinea pig loves the salt rope! I'm also glad that the hook is made out of wood as no matter how much I keep it out of his reach, he manages to chew that as well.

Great for rats
My rats love it. And just to let anyone know, mine didn't come as one big block like in the picture. It was two smaller ones but still equal.
