Snow shaker worked well!
Worked well for my sons shoebox project on polar bears! Just wished there was more product for the “fake” ice making! Comes in a tiny tiny bottle like trial size visine if not smaller. Easy to mix and make snow shaker part!

Snow base came dry and so did the replacement
I've purchased this same product years ago for another project and it worked like a dream to create that snow landscape but my recent purchase and it's replacement came with a dried out container of the snow base. I tried working it but it just crumbled and wouldn't stick. It create snow drifts you need equal parts of the base and "snow" powder. There's no way that would have worked with the base being so dry. I remember it having a glue like viscosity. Not spongy watery rubber.I would prefer another replacement and hope for a working product if I had time but this project is due the next day.

Good but vague structures on drawing time
The components are relatively complete for a winter scene. However the instructions are vague on the drying time of larger snowdrifts it does not indicate whether it takes 30 minutes an hour three hours a day a week a month to dry. Asking woodland scenics they suggested 24 hours which would be great for them to print on their documentation. The application of the snow dust on to the applied snow base doesn't stick as well as one would expect and so that message isn't all that useful other than providing a very light texture. Snowdrifts work well in using that mixing of base and dust been applying that paste is the recommended way of covering a scene pre-painting the scene with white is even better

Good learning kit
I need to learn how to do better winter scenery for our Christmas village, and this has all the essentials, so it fits the bill. Would like more of everything, but you get what you pay for.
