Official replacement for Delonghi softballs in my machine
Replacement for the supplied softballs. A bit expensive but in the whole it is worth it. I've kept mine in longer than recommended but no issues.

Easy to use, just drop in the water tank. If they work as claimed they will prevent scale problems associated with hard water areas

Good product that cuss down on descaling operations on your coffee machine.
A great alternative to buying an expensive De'Longhi water filter system the softballs will last 3 months at a time.

Difficult to know if it works
This is supposed to reduce limescale (I live in a hard water area) but I don't know how well it's working. My bean-to-cup coffee machine still asks for descaling periodically, I think this is governed by time and intensity of use rather than any measure of scale build up. Coffee doesn't taste any different to me. Hopefully the softballs will make the machine last longer but even that will be difficult to confirm.
