Therma Tru Finishing Kit Walnut Stain Kit for Fiberglass Doors

After about 5 years exposure to the sun and weather, our Therma Tru doors were streaked and looked ugly. After reviewing the refinishing instructions online, I decided I would try to tackle the job myself. I ordered the kit from Amazon where it was actually $10 cheaper that ordering directly from Therma Tru. I followed the instructions to the letter and the doors turned out great. I wish I would have taken a before picture to post since the final result was so dramatic. The stain and the clearcoat were both very easy to use and it was nice to get everything I needed in one package. I did the outside of double doors and still have plenty of material left for another application.

Great results. I took my time and thoroughly stripped the old finish off. So all together 6 hours stripping and 4 hours staining.

I have used their gel in the past...much better than this. Could not achieve the look I was trying for. They need to go back to the gel...works much better.

Do not order this product. Description of what was being sent did not match what i receive (as shown) in attacked picture.

All worked out well and the staining looks beautiful.
