Chogokin: GE-45 Macross Frontier RVF-25 Messiah Valkyrie Luca Custom

An incredibly detailed, and complicated, display figure. It comes as the base valkyrie fighter, with the optional super parts set aside. The super parts are easy to attach for the most part, and add some bulk and contrast to the unit's bright green paint scheme. The paint job on this figure is simply phenomenal, with unit markings and colors applied in painstaking detail. The transformation from fighter, to guardian/gerwalk, to battloid can be done without any parts swapping, which is impressive. It also has four sets of hands for recreating specific gestures, which is nice.So, why four stars instead of five?As much as I love the details on this kit, there are a couple of issues that might frustrate some buyers, aside from the high price tag. The biggest issue is how stiff the action on some joints is, particularly the knee joints. The knee joints on the figure I got bent into place for gerwalk mode easily enough, but very stubbornly refuse to bend the other way for posing as a battloid; I eventually gave up trying for fear of snapping the joint, no wonder you don't see many action poses with bent knees.The joint stiffness also affects certain transformation mechanisms, making it easy to worry that a part might break during transformation, especially the rotating section for the torso/nosecone area of the mech (it's on two long, thin plastic rails that can be very tough to move).Overall, this is an awesome item for collectors to display, but don't try to treat it as a toy.

The cartoon series Robotech Macross-have always been my favorite when I was a child, these models accurately reflect them.One must have patience and accuracy when the plane turns into robots but exposed in the window at the end is very well done.The only problem is that buying them from italy customs charges are excessive!good product, however, recommended.

great action toy not for kids.

子供の誕生日プレゼントで購入しましたが、箱が古くて・・・新品を買ったけど箱だけ中古品みたいでした。

現段階としてスーパーパーツの着脱が可能な製品がこのシリーズしかありません。スーパーパーツの固定箇所は少ないため触っていると良く外れますがスーパーパーツ無し状態の形状を大きく崩さずに維持している点は素晴らしいと思います。ただ、ファイター時のガンポッド装着不可な件とファイター降着時のレーダーパネル（ブレードアンテナ）が設定通り後方に折りたためずにバトロイド時と同様に前方に折りたたむのは残念です。

翼の反りは以前購入したオズマ機同様で、全く改善されてません。また、オズマ機と比べてキャノピーが全体に濁っているようです。カラーも成形色なのですが所々色合いが違い、鮮やかなライムグリーンのところとくすんでグレーがかったグリーンのとことがあるのが残念です（まぁ度重なる補修を受けた実物の軍用機にはよくあることですが＾＾）ただし全体の出来はなかなかいいと思います。変形で容易に破損してしまう心配もなさそうです。

スーパーパーツの左側のブースターのSMSマークが斜めに印刷されてる(Sの部分が下に)のは俺のだけ? 頭部はクリアパーツが多用されていてなかなかいい出来です☆ あとはミサイルポッドの中のミサイルの塗り分けがかなり細かくていいですね☆ 悪い点はスーパーパーツのディティールがイマイチ。 モールドで再現して欲しい部分も印刷で済ませてあったりします。
