I have several GShocks, so far this is my favorite. Easy to set up and use. You will have to manually calibrate the Temp and Barometric pressure. After that, it’s accurate.

I love this watch. The watch is very aesthetically pleasing and as always functions great.

The functions all work great, the watch is nice and functional, my only issue with is that the Grey and Black coloring of the watch makes it difficult to read the time, especially when in a dark setting, in this regard I would probably prefer to have bought the GRB200-1A, but aside from this I am pleased with the purchase

The diameter of the watch and the base was too small. I was expecting a much larger base or diameter for a big muscular man. Like 56 or 58 diameter for you wrist. It wasn’t. Too small. Bezel too small. Need a 58 or 59 bezel. The watch did not meet my expectations.

G shocks are addictive. I have a few of them, and something about them keeps me coming back for another one. The Gravitymaster all blacked out is a nice watch for the money. I purchased it for $280 on sale and I love it so far. The carbon fiber bezel looks amazing in the light, and a nice touch, and makes it look unique over other G Shocks. The pushers are over sized and easy to use, and they give the watch a unique profile. This watch is 54 mm wide but it wears smaller. I have an 8" wrist and it looks great. The band is comfortable but stiff a bit out of the box. It will take some time to break it in, but its soft and pliable to the wrist. This watch has an amazing amount of features (altimeter, barometer, thermometer, calorie counter, step tracker, and a compass) and I will probably never use most of it, but it's nice to see all the features packed in. I would not say not having solar power in this watch is a negative because this watch lasts a minimum of 2 years on an easily changeable battery. I think solar is a great idea but more gimmick than necessity. Some may prefer it, and I have had both and I don't really see an advantage of one over the other. At least with a battery powered watch I have constant power and don't have to worry about leaving it in the light to charge, it's just always ready. Just my honest opinion. These new G shocks use a lot less power than they have in the past, so solar is not a necessity. It would have been a deal breaker in the past for me but not anymore considering I can buy this battery in my local Walgreens for $10 and change it myself. This watch is pretty light for its size at only 80 grams. The crystal is a domed mineral glass and is recessed below the bezel for protection. I like when Casio does this because I have had a couple of G's that I have scratched when the crystal is flush with the bezel. On a watch like this you want it recessed especially with a mineral crystal that is durable, but not as scratch resistant as sapphire. I wanted to mention the crystal is beautiful on this watch and the domed look fits the aviator profile perfectly. A very nice touch. I like the buttons on this watch as they resemble a fighter jet/helicopter control array which looks kind of cool, pilots take notice!! This watch has a nice auto backlight that you can activate with the push of a button or when you move your wrist. It also has lume around the dial, the hands, and at the 12 o'clock position. The hands are large and easily readable against the all black and grey display. I think this watch is a good bargain at $350 and even better for what I paid. If you want a big, beefy, cool looking G shock, you can definitely do a lot worse. In all seriousness though it looks better than most, and what drew me to this particular model was the all black (murdered out) look and carbon fiber bezel. When you're outside in the sun this watch pops. Trust me you will not be disappointed with the aesthetics. This watch is also a Carbon Core G, so it has carbon fiber inserts wedged in between the resin for strength, but keeps the watch lighter than a G Steel model. Lastly I would like to say I like this over the steel versions because it's harder to scratch. This watch will keep its like new appearance a lot longer. If you're on the fence, get it. It looks great, has a ton of features and will stand the test of time....it's a G Shock!!
