Revoltech Yamaguchi #101 Gunbuster [JAPAN]

Not a favorite of mine but it's okay. The head always falls off with little effort. There's better Gunbuster figures out there.

Ordered this a long time ago when it was first released. Probably the worst figure of Gunbuster out there. It tries to have a part-forming gimmick but just ends up falling apart due to having so many pegged pieces. The sculpt is OK but it suffers from the overly-organic style of the Yamaguchi line.The Super Robot Chogokin is also fairly cheap and has a much better design. Get that one if you want a mid-range Gunbuster figure, or look for a secondhand Soul of Chogokin if you have the money.

I bought this for my boyfriend's Christmas present, as Gunbuster is his favourite anime. He says "Although it isn't well suited to the classic arms folded Pose, which is a bit of an oversight on the part of the makers, and I had problems making it stand up unsupported as the figure does not come with a proper base, it has a good level of detail and range of motion, despite it being made to break up and recombine into the two Buster Machines."Shipping was faster than expected - my estimated delivery date was 10/12/12, but it actually arrived nearly three weeks before this date!All in all, I would buy from this seller again.

Very finicky articulation is limited and tends to come apart real easy .all of the molding is very gummy and details are hard to make out. Paint is pretty good and it make a all right display peace only get for under twenty pounds

まずは外見について―。 好みも各々あると思うが全体のバランスやボリュームは悪くない。但し、頭部の造形はシャープさに欠ける。 塗装はサイト画像やパッケージよりも濃いめ。特に黄色部分はほぼオレンジとなった。 脛(スネ)パーツに組み換え変形用の分割線が有るのは仕方ないとしても、パーツ精度が低いため若干見苦しい。 バスターマシン状態については寸詰まり感はあるものの、良く頑張ったと思う。ただ、ここまで別パーツを使うならいっそ別で小さい1号&2号が付属するとか、変形しない変わりにエフェクトパーツや武器(多々あるガンバスターの)を充実させるのもアリだったと思う。 動かしてみた感想―。 何はともあれパーツがあちこち外れやすい。 膝(ヒザ)横の楕円形パーツや上腕と肩の接続部、頭部など。 組み換え変形の都合を考えればあまりハメ込みが固いのも問題だろうが、ここまで緩いと「遊べる感」は無くなる。 形状の都合上、上腕と肩の接続はリボルバージョイントではなく差し込み式の1軸可動となっているが、良く動かす場所にも拘わらず抜け落ちやすい。 各関節の可動範囲そのものは決して狭くなく、大胆なポージングが可能。 腰の可動部には軟質素材のカバーが被せてあり、見た目や質感も良い。可動範囲も良好だと思う。 付属品について―。 先にも述べたが、武器が付いていないのは寂しい。縮退炉まで再現しているのに…。 また、お約束?の「腕組みパーツ」が無い。過去、ガンバスターの立体物には多く見られたパーツなのだが何故? 定番の決めポーズに関わるパーツだけに、やはり欲しかった。 総評―。 このサイズのアクションフィギュアに組み換えとは言え、「変形」を盛り込むなど原型師は勿論発売元の意欲が感じられる。しかしながら細かい部分の詰めの甘さは否めず、残念な所も多い。 「遊べないなら無可動フィギュアでいい」と個人的には思った。

スタイルも可動も悪くはないのに超絶変形のお陰でパーツポロリが多くなってます。安く買えるなら2個買って、それぞれの形態で接着した方が良いです。その時、腕パーツはバスターマシンに使用せず腕組み用に加工しましょう。バスターマシンの方はプラ板で塞げばちょっぴりスタイル良くなります。

ガンバスターがこのサイズではショボくて開封していません。
