Nice smooth, pretty standard disc that works after dusk or dark.
The 'try me' plug confused me just like everyone else, there are no instructions and you can't get this out of the box frame without wondering if you're going to ruin it if you pull or cut that powercord. However, once I took a chance and pulled it out, it turned out it was just a tiny little mini plug that comes right out, you don't break anything. I'm posting photos to show.As to the lights, colors, features, and general disc performance: There are three different LED colors, and two modes, flashing, and solid glow. The colors are pure and bright, and really fun to see when flying through the air. I don't recommend using flashing mode, because it flashes on/off a little bit on the slow side, which means when it's flying to the air, there is a significant distance it travels in the 'dark' state between flashes. When it's pitch black, you don't want even 1/2 a second of darkness between flashes before the disc is lit up again as it's coming straight towards your face. Solution: just choose the solid glow mode. The flying performance as a frisbee type disc is fine for general toy use, but my friends all play exclusively with Discraft Ultrastars (the disc uses by Ultimate) and we are used to a certain weight, rim grip etc., and this Toysmith rim is just a bit deeper, which thows off our grip. The actual Frisbee brand discs are similar in that they have a deeper rim than the Discraft. If you're just a casual player this will not be noticeable, but if you use Discraft, you'll notice. Not that we're doing much serious tossing when it's pitch black outside, but all the same, there are other lighted discs that have a 'feel' and shape that is more familiar and similar to Discraft.

So much fun at night!
We bought this while on vacation to play frisbee at night on the beach. They loved it so much that we took it back home with us to play with it more. It comes with batteries and is ready to use out of the box.

Great disc with good lighting!
I love this light up disc! Very sturdy and easy to throw. It has a good brightness and it's nice you can turn it off. Much nicer than my last disc that was motion activated.

Throws smooth and correctly weighted
I usually only get one brand of frisbee and am particular about the weight/ how it throws, and ended up purchasing this one because the ones I normally get were going to take weeks to arrive... and I am pleasantly surprised by how great this frisbee is! The small battery pack for the lights doesn’t change the weight or how it throws- still smooth and well balanced. Lights are a fun added bonus for night time! I’d buy this one again.

Great toy to play with anytime
Great toy to play with anytime, and especially great after dark. I love the fact that it has red, blue and green lights - it looks amazing when thrown. It has a battery pack in the center underside of the frisbee, that you will need a screwdriver to open when changing the batteries. I love the fact that this has a sliding on and off switch - it is not motion-activated. Great for kids of all ages. I like using it with my dog too, except this is made of harder plastic than his Nite Ize frisbee, so I'm slightly concerned it will hurt his mouth as he always goes for it when trying to catch the frisbee. He loves it so much though!

Super bright fun for great nighttime play!!!
I've had 2 other light up Frisbees & this is by far the best. It is so darn bright. I tried to capture the brightness by putting it up against the evening sky.... I think it came out awesome. My son & I tried it out tonight & it has good weight & flyability, & the brightness is off the charts.

Definitely good quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. This frisbee is a life saver for toy crazy dogs after fall daylight savings time! He loves it. Our dog is only 25 pounds, but it’s strong enough to just be scratched up, not broken from his teeth. Definitely good quality for the price. We only give him access to it while we’re playing with it, then put it off, and away when we’re not. Bigger dogs may have trouble with the light/battery pack in the middle of the disk, but works fine for our little guy. Flies well too!

Great quality and bright green lights!
This review is for the Toysmith Nightzone Light Up Disc: The Disc is a high quality item, full-size (like a regular frisbee) and made of hard plastic. There is an easy to use on-off switch on the underside. (The disc uses 2 CR2032 batteries which are included; replacement batteries can be ordered on Amazon.) On the disc we received, all the lights were green and each light functioned properly. The kids had a good time playing with the disc after dark-- the lights illuminated the disc brightly, and the green "glow in the dark" look was great! We ordered a second one! Would definitely recommend.
