Another brilliant, absorbing and humorous story. Murder, drugs and money are on the cards, giving DCI Bracken, his team , his father plus Max, the dog and his boss plenty of crime procedures. There is plenty of action when someone very close is in trouble. Things escalate as Bracken moves up a notch. There was a surprise culprit and things nearly returned to normal. This was a story that certainly was as good as the previous three. Loved it !!

i have read all of john carson's books and as usual thoroughly enjoyed this latest offering .its like catching up with old friends so im hoping more frank miller will be in the pipeline too.as ive mentioned before ,just wish they were a little longer as the enjoyment is over too soon.

I have now read all your books and your sense of humour in this book has brought many a chuckle . Characters again gel together and for myself and I'm sure many avid readers will look forward to next book.Getting immersed in this book has been a pleasure I thoroughly recommend readers will enjoy this storyline till the end.I so well together, story line made me read till end of the book and look forward to many more of your plots and

What can I say ,Bracken is man you don't mess with, I love his character,and love the banter between him and his dad, the book is a great read, and many little twists in it,I'm hoping for more of Bracken ,,,,

Would highly recommend to all my followers and for those who want to pick up their first crime thriller, this series is a must, characters are great and believable. Would highly recommend 😁

The only thing I noticed was that the characters are all still staying in a hotel.A bit far fetched. Other than that they are all believable and you know they do the jobs they are supposed too.

Have now read all four books and thoroughly enjoyed them great caracters and storyline look forward to reading more in the future

Another of John's twisty storylines that keep the reader gripped to the last page. It's good to see the main characters' relationships developing through the series. Always worth a read.
