These string lights are the ideal border for our stone patio. The lights work perfectly and were easy to install. The solar panel powers the lights extensively. The remote works as stated with eight modes, dimming feature and 4-6-8 hour timer. This is a great value & good product. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are amazing lights, I love them. The picture doesn't do them justice, because they look way better in person. I also have these on the slow running mode, so you want see the other 7 modes it has. I do need to reposition them a little as well because I put them to deep into the bush so some of the leaves are covering the lights, however when you walk or drive by you can see them all because I'm on a slight heel and as you go down or up you can see the ones that are hidden on this elevation. +PROS+ *Awesome solar panel, best one I've seen so far, it's like a legit real deal solar panel except it's smaller since it doesn't need that much battery. *The solar battery has continued powering these lights now after 3 days of no sun (just dark, gloomy and lots of rain). Let me repeat They are still running running after 3 days. *They come with a remote (no more walking over to the solar panel to hit the mode button to switch light scenes (The remote sends a more direct signal when it's aimed at the back side of the solar panel. THE REMOTE DOES WORK DESPITE OTHER REVIEWS. TIP If you point the remote toward the part that gathers the sunlight the signal bounces and doesn't always change the light scenes, but it always works when pointing it toward the BACK SIDE of the panel. *Great customer service, I had a question about the warranty and they responded back right away, they were easy to understand, very professional and had proper customer service etiquette. *The LEDs are inside of a type of very clear plastic/silicone great quality tubing that protects them from the elements, from gets torn or cut as easily when trimming the bushes, THEY DO NOT TANGLE UP LIKE THE REGUALR LED FAIRY LIGHTS. *You are given a nice distance of cord from the rope lights to the solar panel so you can position it more toward the direct sun when the rope lights are in a shaded area. *THE SOLAR PANEL DETACHES FROM THE ROPE LIGHTS SO YOU CAN EVEN USE THEM INDOORS, JUST LEAVE YOUR SOLAR PANEL OUTSIDE FOR A DAY AND THEN BRING IT BACK IN AND QUICKLY CONNECT THE ROPE LIGHT BACK TO THE PANEL. [You will get about 3½ to 4 days of constant light on a full charge] The panel also has an indicator light on the back to let you know when it's fully charged, it changes from to green. *THESE ARE THE SAME LIGHTS AS ALL THE OTHER MORE EXPENSIVE ONES, EXCEPT THESE ARE PRICED MORE AFFORDABLEY. *If you haven't bought them yet and are still deciding on if these are going to work as well as the more expensive ones (STRAIGHT UP, BUY THESE). I've never said "BUY THESE" in any of my other reviews before, but this is 1 of only 16 products I've given 5 stars to out of the 1189 purchases I've made from Amazon. I don't give 5 stars often, so when I do please trust that these are awesome. If you're disappointed in these then you are most likely extremely hard to please. -CONS- *There are no Cons.

First order of this I got the box was missing the solar charger base. The rest was new there was no tape on the tap on top of box so dont know what happened. Either fell out or taken out. I received a new set thats fine. Now as to how they work. They work great. Straight up good cool lights. There in a plastic tube so they do good around my pool. They have good light and plenty of options. As long as your getting at least a few hours on the charger you get at least 6-7 hours of lights. Set and forget. This is the third year I have bought these from same company. They last about a year. The sun takes a toll on them. The lights were still working at end but plastic turning so cloudy and everything going brittle. So is it a good deal? I would say so I have had other lights around my back yard and these hold out as well as any other unless your going to hard wired systems and thats not the point of these cheap solar power set ups

These lights worked out perfectly to hang around our outside porch during the Christmas holidays. Worked every time with no issues and it was such a treat to see them twinkling brightly at night when I would come home at the end of the day. I plan on hanging them in the back yard during the off season!

I ordered 2 sets, one for around the pool and one to go around the the awning over back deck. Easy to control with the remote and the colors are pretty at night.

Easy to set up...work great so far (only had them a couple of days/nights) only caution is that the remote has to point at the BACK of the solar panel to work so that may be a bit awkward depending on your set up....mine is in front of a fence so i have to walk over and stick my hand between fence and panel to make it work but it does work went around our little pool one and a half times and lights it up perfectly...my video too big to upload but here's a still shot...

My solar unit on this string only lasted 1 year. The other string solar unit I replaced lasted for 6 years and the batteries were replaceable on the solar panel. This one is not, so you have to buy the whole set again. It's a cheap unit and just as expensive to buy a new battery as just buying the string kit again. With the manufacturer sold just the solar panel.

Working out of box. It dims, it has different modes, solar panels are bigger than other models. These are bright and beautiful plus came to find out when I tried to turn them on with the remote, that it works with the TV too 🤣🤣. UPDATE: They worked for about 6 months. I wish I would have covered the panel because somehow water/moisture got into it and the wires to the battery rusted and the unit stopped working. I can see the charging light blinking like it's charging and at night I see it steady like it's working but the lights won't come on. Opened the panel and discovered as I said the wires and battery had rusted. So I would strongly suggest to COVER THE CHARGING PANEL with a plastic bag like a ziploc or something.

I’ve been using this outdoors for almost a year through both extreme hot and cold weather. The product continues to work and works through the night when fully charged. It was a good value for a good product.

Expensive yet doesn’t work

Product worked great for 1 week. Stopped working for 10 days and for the past 2 nights has worked perfectly. ?? what happened. Documentation is sparse. Would love to hear from sellers.

this is great and you do not need to rely on the sun to charge as there is a port to charge even from your battery pack. i would buy more of them
