These are handy little gadgets..I have one in all 3 vehicles. I'm planning to buy more as Xmas gifts to family. They work good and accurate easy to read easy to use. If I have a accessory outlet plug it in and that's it. It is a continuous read of your vehicle charging system in ( ie.. battery voltage alternator functions working normally)Easy Peasy. Works perfectly. The LED isn’t too bright or dim. It shows the different voltages when using my vehicles. And the price was fantastic! I highly recommend this for all.

I recently had a alternator that stopped charging the battery on one of my vehicles. This caught me off guard. Since then i purchased a 4 pack of these digital voltmeter that plug into the cigarette lighter port.This makes it very easy to keep an eye on the battery voltage/ alternator charging voltage. The digital readout is clear. every time one goes to start an automobile, you can test the battery voltage by putting the ignition into accessories mode. After that when the engine is started, you can see the alternator charging voltage at idle RPM and then when driving you can see the voltage at higher RPM.

The items work perfectly and do not blind you when it's dark outside. Since most 12V sockets are around knee level it would be better if the numbers were facing upwards slightly (I would have given them a 5-star if they were) but still easy to read.

I am a heavy machinery Thechnicien and this thing saves me time. The plastic feals rigid enough to last 3yr+ of every day use and more if carefull. One thing Good to know is the displayed voltage only changes every 2sec but for my usage it is perfect has you will know the lowest voltage the battery went after starting the machine for 2seconds. I have only used it a couple times but i love it. It also shows me the voltage wen turning on lights, fan…. Direct in the cabin telling me if i have a charging issue And also wen pressing the throttle you can diagnose a silent slipping belt easier.
