Works GREAT & can also use as a night light
We stayed at an airBnB that had these and thought they would be great to have for power outages. About a week after purchase, the electricty went out and it did light up as expected. You can then unplug it from the outlet and use as a flashlight. You can also have it as a night light if you choose (there is a on/off for the night light feature). They look sleek and I've now purchased them for our family.

Small Night Light.
its small and it works and doesn't cover the second socket.

It's got a cool swiveling design, it works great and not too bulky while on the wall or in the hand.
I love these emergency lights!!! Our 15-year-old option finally decided not to be an option any more, so I took a chance on something different.I'll be honest and say that I was a little nervous ordering a light with a swiveling option. In my mind, I was telling myself that the swivel would be the weak link that would have me returning these. But, that hasn't been the case at all. These units seem to be sturdily made and I have experienced no "shorts" when rotating the light into a position that fits where I'm plugging it in.I also love having the choice of turning it into a pretty powerful flashlight if necessary. The unit fits nicely in my hand when walking around with it.I have no reservations suggesting that you try these lights out.

Works well - mostly. A couple of nits ...👇
As an emergency light, this product works as designed. When disconnected from power, the light comes on automatically and is bright and steady. Works well as a flashlight, but ...Nits:1) The plug does NOT fold down as described in the product overview and a video review, so some care required when using as a flashlight or you may get a bruise. Placing in your pocket NOT recommended.2) The night light option is a little frustrating as the light intensity changes - bright, then not so bright, then bright again ... etc.3) Packaging DIFFICULT to open. Discovered tearing off a BOTTOM corner of the cardboard package provides easier access to the clam shell which simply spreads apart with your fingers - MUCH easier!I intend to keep the units (3) but I do wish the folding plug had not been replaced with a non-folding plug, and a steady night light is always a better way to go.

Nice little light for power failures
This works as expected and gives peace of mind I'll have light if the power goes out.I had a 'duh' moment, thinking the night light didn't work but found it needed to be in a dark room beforeit illuminated.

What you need when the lights go out
If you lose electricity a lot, these are fantastic to have. Even if you don't, they are just a great backup if you even do.When you lose power, they turn on, lighting up whatever space (we have one in the hall and one in the basement). They can either continue to stay in the outlet or used as a flashlight.I bought another as we've been losing power a lot in spring storms and I was afraid my toddler might wake up and it be dark and freak out, so I got one for her room.

Better than Expected.
Nite light is very bright. My old, old nite light was very dim. I really like this one, but you may think that it is too bright. You could cover it partially with a piece of tape. In an emergency, the really bright lights come on!!

Great product if you live in an area where your power tends to go out .
These are awesome! We have overhead utility lines so storms knock out our power sometimes. We always have these plugged in and changed. They give me off a decent amount of light. Have relied on them 2-3 times already since purchasing.
