Amazon EssentialsMen's Straight Fit 5-Pocket Stretch Twill Pants

Full disclosure.. this is my first time trying Amazon Essential branded clothing of any sort.. I lost weight and needed new clothes but also needed to observe a strict budget.. a friend suggested Amazon Essentials, so I looked into it, read a few reviews, browsed through the various choices, styles, colors, etc., and ultimately decided I would test purchase a pair of pants and give them an honest eval. Ordering and delivery were hassle free - no problems to report. My new pants arrived and I opened the plastic bag/envelope/mailer thingy it came in and took a long close look at the stitching, material, and overall quality of the sewing work. 1. All seems were 100% intact. I didn't find any defects or torn or missed threads.. nothing. That surprised me because for the price, I thought for certain I'd find something. 2. All the seems are single stitched. The inset pocket (Right pocket) is not tight nor difficult to access. I point to that because I have Dockers and other brands where the inset pocket is too tight and very difficult to access. 3. The measurements are fairly accurate. I ordered size 34" waist and 28" length and when I measured the pants, they were within a couple of Millimeters. 4. They didn't smell weird. I have ordered pants and other garments in the past that arrived with strong odors, chemical type odors but these did not. 5. They have a very good overall fit and feel good standing, walking, sitting, crouching, and so on. 6. The material feels like more expensive, better quality types found in much more expensive garments. Conclusion: The Amazon Essentials Men's Pants I ordered turned out to be a solid choice for testing. And based on my examination and subsequent findings, I no longer have any lingering doubts about whether or not they will be even worth testing.. Granted, this is my very first Amazon Essential Garment so time will tell if the quality and economical price point hold. Cheers!

These look well made and more importantly fit. They look like look good and hopefully will wear well. They arrived promptly . I will let you know if there are any problems.

I recently purchased these pants for my freshman son, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and fit. They look great on him and seem to be very comfortable as well. He wears them to school almost every day, and they still look like new after several washes. I appreciate the attention to detail and the durability of the material used. Overall, I highly recommend these pants to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable option that will last a long time.

This are nice stretch twill pants that fit well. The waist is a little lower than older designed pants, but that is okay. They fit nice and wear well. They are also easy to clean because it is machine washable and you can tumble dry and hang as soon as the dryer buzzes and very little if any wrinkles.

My son wears these every day for his job. He likes how soft and light weight they are. He is a big guy and self conscious, but likes them because they aren't too tight or loose. I like how inexpensive they are! My only complaint is the do fade after several washes. Luckily, they are such a good price, I can buy several at a time to rotate them.

They are comfortable to wear, except the low waist is a little uncomfortable for me as I'm used to higher waisted jeans dealing with plus sizes. Lower waisted Jean's on a big person overemphasizes the gut. They've been pretty well sewn together and durable.

These pants fit comfortably for hours on end regardless of what I’m doing. They wear well and stay up. I’ve slid on asphalt on my ass and hip and there are no tears. It’s a lightweight stretch jean material that is pretty sturdy. I take them out of the dryer, shake them out, and hang them up. They look great on and I’ve gotten lots of compliments. When I sit down the waistband doesn’t sag down and expose my crack.

I am loving AMAZON ESSENTIALS brand lately. :) I needed to buy for my husband to wear to work. He works in an environment where he can be a bit relaxed on outfits rather than dressy-office style but at the same time stay as professional looking for meetings. This pair of pants and the rest of the bunch fits the bill and actually exceeded my expectations.THICKNESS - I have to say there is a very small difference in thickness between the colors. I have to say the beige one is the thickest. But again very slight difference.Features/Fit - there is a small pocket inside the right hand one which to me is a nice addition. Fits my husband very well. It doesn't look baggy on him but at the same time not tight especially in the calves. It is also very presentable and you can dress it up or down and they all look professional.At this point I pretty much bought all colors for hubby so that should tell something :) There is nothing wrong in saving some money but still look nice in a pair of twill pants!

Fit is exactly right

Felt like I had been wearing them for years as soon as I put them on - perfect fit and well-made. Bit of stretch adds to the comfort. Low rise but not hip-huggers. Good value - better than Levis!
