A great book about the value of honesty!
A great book about the value of honesty and making the right choice. This is book number 7 in “The Adventures of Harry and Friends” series, with Harry, a red-headed lizard, as the main character. All of the books in the series have an educational value, teaching kids to overcome anxiety, build self-confidence and be respectful towards others.Harry is already a famous character, and I was happy to come across this new book presenting his latest adventures. My daughter, a naughty Nelly, absolutely loved this story! Harry breaks his mom’s favorite vase, struggling to decide what he should do – make up a story or tell the truth. We can see him weighing out the consequences, opting in the end for honesty. This is the kind of book that parents can use to strike a conversation on making good choices. As parents, it is up to decide in which way we approach the matter, and I think books can be quite helpful. I loved the creative way the author presented the story, which is so relatable to little ones and their everyday lives. The fun illustrations, of course, added to the delight of the reading experience. My little one was thoroughly entertained upon seeing Harry’s toys come to life, and she became rather serious when she saw how they tried to influence his decisions. She then tried to repeat the same scenario, telling me that it is always best to say the truth, rather than make up a ridiculous story to stay out of trouble. I also took the opportunity to explain to my daughter everyone mistakes, not just kids. Adults struggle to make the right choice and I think honesty is always the best policy. This is a wonderful book! I loved the fact that the author kept asking the reader what should Harry do, kids prefer interactive books and becoming involved in the stories they are reading. The story helped my daughter understand honesty is always the way to go. Well done!

An Important Lesson
This book is creative and cute in the way that it presents an important lesson to children about honesty, trust, and taking responsibility for one's actions. The characters are fun and amusing; I couldn't help smiling at the villain's antics. What's great about this book is that it engages the reader by asking him/her what the main character should do about the situation in which he finds himself. As a parent, I appreciated the subtle reminder to me about how I should react when my children own up to and take responsibility for their mistakes, no matter how upset I may feel. All around, great book for parents and children both! Also, shout out to the illustrator for perfectly capturing the characters emotions! Loved it!

Trustworthiness
This is an awesome book. It’s about a a young creature(presumably a frog) that accidentally knocks over his mother’s vase. When this happens, two of his toys come alive and try to influence his decisions. One says tell the truth and the other says to make up a ridiculous story in order to stay out of trouble. The book I’m is practical, funny, creative, and the artwork is amazing. Easy one of the best children’s stories that I’ve ever read! A DEFINITE MUST HAVE!!

Great life lessons in a fun and entertaining format.
Just read our new book dealing with the temptation to lie to get out of trouble and the importance of telling the truth. It was a very good lesson to teach my son and a very fun and cute format to do so. These are going to be a favorite of my young son, as well as his mother and I. I highly reccomend these for families with young children who wish to teach valuable life lessons that will help shape a child with integrity and honor.

Honesty is the best policy
A great story about honesty. This is a book that all children can benefit from. I can see this book being used in the classroom to have a group discussion about being honest vs. lying. These are great lessons to teach kids early and this book does a great job at demonstrating that. The illustrations were also cool as it reminds me of comic books.

Trust want broken
One of most important thing your child should be assured of is that telling the truth is right and crucial for many reasons. After being tempted because of the fear of getting in trouble the mom handles this like I would to ensure telling her the truth was safe.

Honest Choices
When Harry breaks his Mom's favorite vase, he is torn between making up a story or telling the truth. Check out how one smart boy weighs out the consequences of a very tough choice. A fun tale perfect for opening a discussion about being honest and trust.

Such a fun comic book style story with a great message to tell the truth!
Harry gets in a bit of a pickle as to whether to come clean about how his mom’s favourite vase gets smashed - who should he take advice from? Will he end up going to prison?! Will his mom ever trust him again, and will he still get a freshly baked cookie? A really fun read with a great message for kids.

A super story with a valuable lesson
This book is a really visual and helpful way to talk about honesty with your children. As a teacher, I'll be using it in school to help start a discussion with my class about telling the truth, even if we've done something bad. I really enjoyed the book and love how interactive it was as well - I would definitely recommend this story to others!
