Q: does this paint need sunlight to work? I'm looking for a paint that works like the old alarm clocks used on their hands & numbers. They just glowed.

Any phosperous paint needed something to charge it . Its just some hold charge longer than othdrs . If you put a couple good layers it should hold charge almost all night providing it was daylight all day. Or even just a few minutes of regular light , longer if charged with a black light. Its good paint

No. Sun . Day light . Indoor light all work. Some faster than others
