I had been a diehard ASUS fan for years...recently however, their quality has been getting a tad worse, not to mention my last mobo I got from them fried my brand new Ryzen 5950x.I decided to make a jump and got this bad boy, and here are my list of perks:Pros:Easy to install: all the components went in nicely, had little issues getting everything where they needed to beGreat M2 locations: I love the M2 slots are covered and it has a cooling fan for them as allIncredibly clean design: I was getting rather tired of every single mobo looking like a cheese fest, this is a step in the right directionBios functionality: I like that it has all the bells and whistles you'd need/want for all you OC needs, I'm still noodling around, but the TPM was easy to find for a win11 build like mineActually supports 128gb ram: description misleading this model DOES support 4 sticks up to 128gb of RAMFits huge GPU: installed my EVA FTW3 3090 without issues, fits snug and securelyQuite a few fan slots: more cooling right ;)Wifi6 support: 1gb wifi is never a bad thing and I do like it has the antennaes vs the long cables fin like ASUSCMOS reset easily accessible: bios flash and CMOS reset on rear of unit, very good for when the time comes to require thatMetric buttload of USB ports: I have quite a few things to plug in, this was a delightful perk as wellCons:Only one CPU fan slot: this kinda sucks if you have a pump for your CPU (Which if you OC a 5090x, you need to do this it does run hotter) not a huge deal as I paired with the case fan connector so it does it's job...just would be niceM2 slots can be annoying: although I like them, the tiny screw with the M2 slot can fallout during install and can get under the heatsinks, kind of annoying.... But only during disk installsAnyhow... The cons are minor, but so far this thing is meeting my expectations quite nicely

Apparently, there is a chance that when you order this board, you get one which was made around the same time when the 5000 Series came out. In this case, the boards firmware will be outdated and won't recognize the CPU, preventing it from booting. This is what happened to me and it was an absolute pain in my ass to figure out that this was the problem. I had to order a different mainboard from a different manufacturer to have a working PC again. I wrote NZXT customer support but they haven't responded after 4 days. All around one of the worst experiences ever...

This B550 motherboard has all the features that I am looking for that even X570 boards and other high end B550 boards dont have.I was looking around for B550 motherboards that has a USB type C front panel header, with wifi/slot for wifi anetenna at i/o shield(like asrock motherboards) and at least 8 USB ports at the rear i/o. I looked high and low for a motherboard that checked all the boxes and can't believe that none of the motherboard has all that features in it, not even high end boards that costs $500+. My old motherboard(Asrock B550m Pro 4) was the closest board to check all the boxes, just lacking a USB type C front panel header.But then i remembered that NZXT made motherboards that looks pretty good and decided to check it out, and lo and behold, it has everything that I need, while looking clean while remaining not too pricey. This motherboard even exceeded my expectations, it has 8+4pin CPU power, for more juice for overclocking, 10 total usb ports(type A+type c combined), has integrated wifi 6 + bluetooth, bios flashback + clear cmos button at rear i/o that usually only high end boards that costs $500+ includes, it even has power + reset button on the motherboard itself for testing/test bench so you don't have to jump the power pins to start the motherboard, lastly it has cover/plates all over the board to hide the traces and make the motherboard look cleaner and more professional.Overall, really impressed with this motherboard, as it exceeded my expectations without being crazy expensive, would totally look into NZXT motherboard again when I upgrade my CPU to AM5.
