Like most hot/cold packs, the heat/cold doesn’t last overly long but it lasts long enough to do the job until it’s hot/cold enough again. I had to have oral surgery for a bad tooth and this was the perfect size to fit the affected area of my face whereas any heating pad was FAR too big. The strap on the back made it super easy to hold it in place. The two pack is great for the price because you can use one for heat and the other for cold. I would recommend these to anyone who has a small area they need/want to use a hot/cold pack on.

Love the size. It’s the perfect size to put on any any of your body and it’s easy to store in the freezer. I love how it has a handle so when I have a headache I can hold it on my head or forehead. Works very well and it’s comfortable

The soft beads allow for wrapping around a knee or ankle if needed. Each pack has a soft handle on the back that can be held onto the sore area.I can’t wait for these to arrive at their house. I’m sure their mother with love the sweet heart shaped note. I hope she reads it to the children.

Used this for 3 days and the 4th day the pouch broke open when I tried to move around the pack. Beads everywhere.UPDATE: seller reached out and offered replacement/refund. I appreciate the effort.

The coldness escapes rather quickly.

As a runner, this was perfect for when I had a knee injury where the surrounding tendons were pulling on the kneecap. For the first 2 days, I used this as a cold pack. I found the design of the pack where the back of the pack is made of fabric with a strap in the middle. This is perfect for putting your hand through the strap and holding down the pack. The beads in the pack are very squishy so every minute or so, I would just squish the pack in all directions to ensure a more even distribution of cold. After 2 days, I then used it as a hot pack. I microwaved it for a bit longer than recommended. I made sure to squish the pack before applying to make sure the heat is evenly distributed. It wraps around the area of my knee perfectly due to the squishyness and flexibility of the pack. It maintains the heat well. I pulled my knee compression sleeve over the gel pack which acted to hold the gel pack in place and allowed me to go hands free. You could also easily use ACE bandages or any type of long string or fabric to tie the bag to the area of your injury.It's been very effective in helping my knee injury due to running. I do recommend that you buy at least 2 of these so you can alternate bags just in case you need to keep it on the affected area longer.
