This sandpaper works well wet or dry. It doesn't fall apart when wet, and rinse offs keeps the paper from clogging. I used this sandpaper to polish two vases that the necks had broken off. I got rid of the jagged edges and sanded up to 2000 grit using 3m sandpaper, but 200 wasn't fine enough to take the stone to a polish. With the Elcubro sandpaper I began with 3000 grit, and it removed the cloudiness left from the 3m 2000 grit. I used progressively finer grits to 7000, and with the 7000 got the shine I was seeking. The sandpaper cut very quickly and uniformly, with no scratches larger than the grit size in use.It is durable too. I used a quarter sheet of each grit to sand the upper 3/4" of both vases, and had leftovers from the 1/4 sheets to use on another project. This stone (onyx) is fairly soft, but the paper exceeded my expectations with regards to durability. It is every bit as good as 3m.

I like making stuff super smooth so this pack of sandpaper is perfect to get it to a really smooth point grit by grit. I recommend getting a sanding block that fits this size
