Your Body Never Lies: The Complete Book Of Oriental Diagnosis Paperback – Illustrated, December 15, 2006

This book is so super helpful. It helps me to see what is going on with my clients. It is an amazing tool. I recommend it to all of my Health Coach friends. I have even purchased it for doctors that I work with.It has been so right on... Even before things start showing up in blood work. I love the work of Michio Kushi. This was not the book of his, that I was going to be buy; but it turned out to be my first purchase. I personally am not all into macrobiotics for myself... I can not do brown rice and sea veg. But I do follow some macrobiotic rules. This book is something that you do not need to be all into macrobiotics to read, use or appreciate. I am grateful that Kushi brought back this lost art of diagnosis! Real medicine does not need to be all that intrusive, all the time. This book makes for an amazing read & reference tool. This should be a required read in medical school! It is a great tool and reference for ANY holistic practitioner.

I don't know if everything in this book is true, or not, but a goodly portion of it seems to be, based on my own experience. This book instructs the reader in how to examine the external condition of their body in order to determine what is going on internally. As an example, I've found its claims about chapped lips to be true, in that lip-chapping generally seems to indicate a digestive problem. And I've found that when I clear up the digestive issue, the lips stop chapping. So I've learned to watch that very carefully.

This book gives an insight on Visual Diagnosis by covering part of the body. This is a great first book to understand this diagnosis.

This book written by Michio Kushi is easy to read and understand. Gives you the answers you are looking for quickly.

Both practical and fascinating!! And the illustrations are amazing!! Thank you for this wonderful addition to my healing library :)
