This outlet box is well-constructed and worked perfectly for installing an additional outdoor garage light.

Got these for my new Blink floodlight installation. Very sturdy & fits perfectly. Use a bit of silicon sealer to go along with the foam sealer provided on the Blink camera just for added protection. I used a bulkhead fitting to go through my metal building wall that allowed this box to screw directly to. Sealed very well with the gaskets on the fitting. Holds the box & camera in place with no additional screws needed. Wires pass through the fitting for clean look.

This is a nice quality box. It was the perfect height for where I needed it to go in my eave so that the flood light I installed would be flush with the vinyl soffit. However, it was missing the screws for mounting the fixture, and the standard-sized 8-32 screws that came with the flood light were a hair too small. I came back to Amazon to reference the listing, and it says that it should come with the screws. It also gives conflicting information about it taking 10-32 (of which I already had and did not work) and 10-24 screws (which I didn’t have). Had to make a special trip to the hardware store to get 10-24 screws, and those worked perfectly. Would have been a 5 star review if it weren’t for the issues with the screws.

The accessory hardware, the 1/2" plugs and grounding screw are not correct for this box. Whoever put this together at the factory did it incorrectly. The accessory hardware package only contains 2-1/2" threaded plugs when it should contain 4. And the thread pitch for both the grounding screw and the cover screws are the incorrect size and pitch for the box. The box itself seems solidly built of metal, and the threaded outlets fit my 1/2" flex conduit fittings.

This box has five threaded holes but comes with only two closure plugs. The design makes no sense for outdoor use. Anyone installing this outside knows that even one open hole will let rainwater in. Yet the manufacturer only includes two plugs and expects customers to buy the rest separately. Saving a few cents while creating a bad customer experience is unacceptable. I bought this to install immediately, not to hunt for missing parts. Zero star if possible

With this product, you may need some of the following to complete your project: - One or two 1/2" closure plugs, if this will have 2 or fewer pipes or cables connected to it. - A gasket, if installed in a damp or wet location and a gasket does not come with the product that is to be mounted on the box. - Two #10 machine screws threaded 10-24, if the product that is to be mounted on the box comes with only 8-32 machine screws intended for mounting on an indoor ceiling box.

Happy with purchase. Only issue was that the required screws to mount a light fixture is larger than what is typically provided with the light fixtures. You will need to purchase 10-24 x 1/2 inch screws.
