I bought this helmet upon recommendation of another nurse who bought hers two years ago when she was having alopecia… The device is comfortable and easy to use. I did my research and red light laser therapy is recommended by the mayo clinic and the Cleveland clinic for hair loss ..,,so not wanting to use too many chemicals it seems like a good option. I now have added minoxidil 5% to my regimen in addition to spirolactone which is recommended for women for hair loss (it’sprescription diuretic in case you don’t know what it is) additionally I am also going to try Rosemary oil which is said to stimulate the scalp. I was a model and a professional cheerleader in my youth and although I’m just an old fat nurse now I still lamb looks conscious lol wish me luck and I wish all of you luck with your hair as well

My hair was starting to get thin in the front, and the hair pills and Rogaine didn't seem to work. I bought this laser red light therapy cap, and I have been using it for about 8 months. The red light doesn't hurt or feel too hot. The cap is comfortable. My hair does feel thicker. My family has been commenting on how my hair looks better so I think it does work. It might take a bit for the new hair to grow in though.

Bought the professional to give it a shot. So far love it. Fits well and seems to be working. Been using it for 3 weeks and have notice some shedding which is normal. Excited to see the results. I will check back in after 3 months. Took some pics before and will see how it goes and willPost

My husband and I have been using the iRESTORE LED for our hair growth. Since I have started using it my hair falls out less after shampooing. I have also tried the biotin supplements and the Hair Growth pills. My nails feel stronger and so does my hair. I have recently started the iRESTORE shampoo and everyone comments how thick and full my hair looks. The customer service at iRESTORE is also fantastic.

I just purchased the IRESTORE professional helmet. I've used it three times with no effects. I understand this will not be an immediate thing and I am willing to wait! I've used the shampoo, the conditioner, the vitamin, and the pills all within this last week and a half with no ill effects. I look forward to using the equipment and seeing the final results! As I use it more often, I will update my review.

I just started using it, so I can't update on the results. The device is easy and convenient to use, looks professional. Very pleased that I purchased it and that it only needs to be used 3 times a week to get results.

This hair growth red light therapy helmet looks and feels very well made. I went with the iRestore bar as and model over others bc of the 282 LEDs it has. I’m hoping it gives my wife and I great results! I have high hopes.

Update:I have increased my review by one star to 3 because of iRestore's willingness to work with me to address my concerns - customer experience plays a significant role in my ratings.I will update this review again at 6 months.I also should have mentioned in my original review that I bought the battery accessory with my purchase - my experience with the battery has been a 5 star experience and I highly recommend it. It's not that I use the freedom it gives me to move around a lot, but it's really nice to have the flexibility to sit wherever I want or move around when needed.************I'm writing this review after having this unit for 3 months - which is the earliest I-restore says I might see the beginnings of a change. I've been using it religiously every other day for the 25 minute cycle. The unit is very comfortable and a snap to set up. I don't find that my head gets unusually hot or any discomfort while wearing it, although my wife jokes that I look like I'm wearing a Dunce Cap, especially if I'm sitting in a corner reading while using it.My first impulse was to give this a 3 for now, since to date I see no difference, which is not unexpected. I've attached photos of my head from just before I started and the 3 month point. But I'm giving this 2 stars because the 6 mos satisfaction guarantee runs up against the "you might not notice much of a change for 3-6 mos" and I can foresee returning it slightly before if changes aren't obviously happening.Note when I bought this from Amazon, I-Restore was offering a full year satisfaction guarantee (I see the 6 mos warranty on Amazon now, but clearly didn't notice it when I ordered). I guess that they do this to motivate buyers to buy direct vs. from Amazon.At six months I'll update this review with final shots.
