What is most important to know.
My wife has gotten into gardening in a big way, and plants lots of flower bulbs. These works really well for drilling holes to plant the bulbs in. So much easier than using a trowel, or shovel, or bulb planter. The big one also comes in handy in digging holes to plant transplants, (i.e.: tomato plants or pepper plants from the nursery.) All I do is dig the hole, put some fertilizer at the bottom of the hole and put the plant in and cover it up. Really simple and the transplants seem to do better than when I did it the old way. You can also use these to loosen the soil in an area by just drilling holes here and there. A real time and effort saver for me. One note of caution, if you are drilling into hard soil, get a good grip on the drill. If you hit a hard spot or buried rock, it will yank your wrist big time. Highly recommended. I wish I had bought these a couple of decades ago.

Holy cow these are amazing! Worth every penny
I live in New england where every handful of soil has atleast 4 giant rocks and 10 small rocks.... this made QUICK work of it! it kicked rocks the size of baseballs out of the ground (probably should have been wearing safety goggles) but I wasnt expecting this to work as well as it did! Ive only used the biggest one so far but planting 10 fruit trees took a FRACTION of the time with this thing. Just make sure your drill battery is charged. Attached a video. Worth every penny!!! Super sturdy!

Three smaller sizes drill well
The three smaller sizes of these augers drill well. The narrow point on the end of them does a good of starting a hole and allowing the auger blade to start digging. The larger size, the 3", will hardly dig at all. It has a larger, cone shaped end that only compacts clayey soil and will hardly ever begin to dig. I guess if you were using it at the beach in pure sand, it would work. I plan to grind that point down and try to make it more like the points of the other three augers. Other than that, these augers work very well. I dug several hundred holes with the 2" and 2.6" augers and had no problem. I hit several roots and the augers wrapped around them and pulled themselves down, but reversing the drill backed them out with no damage to the auger. These augers are straight with no wobble. It's hard to find drill augers that work well, but these do, with the exception of the larger one. The purchase was well worth it for just the three smaller augers, and hopefully I can modify the largest one to work.

Awesome!
These augers are rugged and work great in Georgia red clay. I dug a 48” deep 15” diameter hole in a drought using these. GA clay in a drought is like red concrete. It was slow going at first. I rotated in circular fashion as I drilled making multiple holes and broke the dirt free using post hole diggers. I repeated this and finally around 32 inches there was a slight bit of moisture and the process spread up. I also used these to plant 19 trees 3 days after 2 inches of rain eased our drought. These augers worked fast and held up hitting gravel. You need a strong drill.

Game CHANGER!
Bought these for the sole purpose of planting a row of privot hedges on my property. One of these and a (good) cordless drill... my seven year old neighbor and I planted 54 bare root provots in LESS THAN AN HOUR! Since then, I have used all of the sizes many many times planting lots of different things in a lot of different conditions. Great for loosening up the soil before diggin, finding roots, cultivating weeds, mixing compost, ANYTHING! Just be sure to watch out for large roots that can bind you up and twist your wrist when using.

These worked great for flower bulbs
Pretty pleased with them. My wife and I planted over 200 bulbs with no issues. I think people were having trouble because they didn't know how to set their drills right. You have to slow the speed down and put it on a lower setting. If you set he speed high and go all out, yest, you can easily tear these apart, but that is really user error. We had no problems what so ever.

I use these all the time for planting. So much better than using a trowel or dibble stick.

Great garden augers!
Love the different sizes, easy to use and just great for bulb planting! Just beware if you hit a rock or roots while using attached to the drill....it will take your wrist off! Def saves your back from digging!

Bang for buck - solid augers that can dig through pebbled soil
Used this auger set to dig a hole (40cm deep) for a metal post on the weekend, and it works great. I'm really glad I bought this set with the four sizes because I encountered some pebbles about 15-30cm below and being able to use different sizes helped to get through the pebbles, e.g. the smaller sizes helped to loosen the pebbles and the bigger sizes made the hole wide enough. I attached the augers to a standard cordless drill and it had adequate power for the application. Only advice is to wear an adequate pair of gloves if you're digging tough soil as I ended up have a blister on my hand - ouch!

Love these Augers, A Must Have!
Definitely has made gardening so much easier. On my own and things aren’t easy. My ground is very packed. Can’t dig in with a shovel. This attachment loosens soil quickly. My son dug a good size hole, he said he’d never do it again with this attachment. More than happy with this product.
