Having had a similar sized Homedics massager previously which worked very well, I was interested to see how this model compared. My initial impressions are that it is probably superior in a number of aspects. Firstly, the neck massager covers an impressive height range which is more than adequate for me (and I am 6 feet tall). Also the number of massage heads for the back area is double that of the Homedics unit which provides a more comprehensive coverage and deeper massage. The addition of the seat/bottom massage was an unexpected bonus as I was not expecting to use this but it does enhance the relaxation during a massage and I am now using it regularly. As regards the strength/intensity of massage, again the Renpho unit exceeds expectations plus you can vary the intensity level to suit your needs. Overall, I would say that this unit gives excellent value for money (more so as I bought it during the Spring sale!) but even at around £150 I would say it is still a good buy providing that its durability is satisfactory - and that remains to be seen.

I bought this primarily for my girlfriend, she has a very crunchy shoulder and routinely needs me to jam a thumb in her back to help loosen it up, Being a loving boyfriend I'm always ha[[y to help, but there's only so much my poor thumb can take, getting into the deeper tissues can be quite difficult.This massage seat is strong! I honestly feel i could move a car with it, and that force can be transferred right into your achy aback and neck, and as an added bonus it can keep you warm while vibrating you from the rear up. press a button and it runs for 15 minutes working up and down your back, or you can lock it to one place. The neck is height adjustable so you can push it down to your shoulder or the base of your head. The heating is subtle, it doesn't need a lot as the massaging action itself does create a feeling of warmth.The power cable is plenty long enough, easily allowing me to move my chair with the massage pad still on it, and it has a velcro strap to more rigidly attach it if you wish, although as it folds fairly flat it's easy to just remove it and slide down under a desk when not in use.The leather feels good quality and is nice and soft to the touchOverall a good product, and has given my poor thumbs a good rest!

The product was packaged very well and delivered very quickly. Upon unboxing I was very impressed with the quality of the product with good materials and excellent stitching. The product once placed on a sofa/chair is extremely easy to operate. The handheld controls make targeting specific areas of the back/neck/shoulders very easy. There is also the option to add heat and seat vibration. It is also possible to increase the strength of the massage by pushing back further into the chair. The neck massage nodes are also height adjustable which means it is possible to get the perfect fit for your individual size. The massage covers all the main back muscles and is sufficiently deep to relieve back and neck tension. Whilst the product is in operation there is a gentle whirring noise which still allows you to watch tv or make phone conversations uninterrupted. Overall I have very much been enjoying using this product after a long days work or after a gym session. I have previously purchased and been impressed with my Renpho bathroom scales. This back and neck massager has further enhanced Renpho’s reputation. The price is also comparatively low for similar products by other companies. I would highly recommend Renpho’s products to anyone considering such items

I bought this for my hubby for Christmas, He has a very crunchy shoulder and bad back. This massage seat is strong. The function keys are easy to read as it is quite large and adjustable which is good . It helps to relax your muscles especially with the heat function. Hubby said it one of the best gift i have bought him

So this looked good. A lot of reviewers liked it. Indeed ours work very well for five minutes, and then it went mad and everything started working at once, except the hand controller which was dead."No problem", I thought. "2-year warranty" Then you read the small print - the European support agent is a mobile number. Not a good sign, but tried it anyway and spoke to a helpful sounding lady. That's as good as it got.So this is a review of the 2-year warranty I've purchased, as the product was effectively DOA.However, I subsequently received an email which was much less than helpful. Instead of assisting in any way, never mind swapping it out, they wanted me to take a video of it (in spite of my very detailed description of the problem) and then ship it back to them (for ~£30) to have it repaired. They also claimed the warranty was only one year (see photo that contradicts this), but I pointed out we'd had it for one day so it was covered anyway.After I pointed out for the second time that I didn't possess an iPhone to make the demanded video I got a culturally inappropriate email that basically said I was wasting my time contacting them about it. I'll be charitable and guess this came from overseas, but to English sensibilities it was plain rude.So I can only suggest avoiding this and other poor quality Renpho products. I tried to get warranty support and got the run-around instead.Why don't I sent this back to Amazon and buy a new one (after all, it seemed pretty good)? Well, a week after I bought it the price went up by £80. I want the product I ordered at the price I paid for it, and with genuine warranty service.Renpho claims their warranty is "award winning", but I'm struggling to find a category of award it deserves.
