Of all the diffusers I have of this type (the ones that require water), this one puts out the most mist, which is the most important feature to me. One thing to be aware of, though, is that unlike most diffusers of this type, the default mode for this one is for it to start on low mist, so if you want more mist, be sure to click the appropriate button for that (the one on the far right) after first turning it on.Although this holds up to 500 ml, I usually only put about 200 ml of water in it, because I like to change scents fairly frequently. But even with only 200 ml, the unit runs for more than six hours. I've never really timed it, but I think it will go for about eight hours with only 200 ml of water.It's a little louder than my other diffusers, but not by much, and the heavier mist more than compensates for that. Plus, for me and my husband, it's nowhere near loud enough to keep us from falling asleep. It's a fairly low humming sound that I don't even notice after the first minute or two. And being able to set it to shut down after one, three, or six hours -- or allow it to operate continuously until it runs out of water and automatically shuts down -- is very convenient, too.Anyway, great product, shipped quickly, and I'm very happy with it! :)

Unit does a nice job; changing colors are soothing. For me, the smooth, round design is awkward to handle, hard to grip when you want to replace the lid..........not a big deal and once it's plugged in, it does it's thing and it's fine.
