Worked so well... I had to buy a second one! I am a teacher and work during the day (and well into the night, ha ha), so I can't always get out to check my bird-babies every day. This was perfect to keep them fed on those days when I have too many papers to grade and too many parent meetings and they have to wait until the next day for me to check on them. They love it and there is no poo in their food and the goat can't eat what isn't his (he has to eat is own food!).

This is an awesome feeder. I purchased two and will purchase more in the future as my flock gets bigger. It has the tear drop holes for mounting so it can be removed from where you mount it easily which makes cleaning it a lot easier even though as long as it stays dry it shouldn't need cleaned that often. It is well made, thick metal, that will allow it to last a very long time. The capacity is great compared to other feeders and I like that it keeps the chickens from making a mess and wasting the feed. I installed one inside my large walk in coop and they don't use it much but that's because as soon as I open the door to the run area they bolt out to feed outside. So I plan on installing one outside under a small roof. I can see a raccoon getting into one but you can easily install a latch on the lid or do what I did and install an electric fence. I installed the electric line on the outside of the fence with one run 4 inches from the ground and another at the top of the fence. In between I used the poultry fencing. So the chickens won't get shocked and anything trying to burrow under or over the fence will get a fried. Anyways, this is a good product and I highly recommend it.

I don't know what the bad reviews are on this, it is really amazing. It doesn't hold a full bag of food (30lbs) but it does hold about 3/4's. you flip the lid up, load it and that's it. Mine sits outside, just under a bit of cover but not fully covered and the food never gets wet. It has a grate so the birds don't play in it as well. If you get this, and a 5 gallon buck which has nipple waterers your life will become very easy caring for birds.

Great product. Holds plenty of feed for my chickens and is sturdy. Just wish it had a pointed top so the birds wouldn't purch on top and poop!

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this Little Giant feeder. I love it's large size and design prevents wasted feed.

This feeder prevents my chickens from scratching their food out all over the coop floor. Holds 25 lbs. easy to fill, easy to check level of feed.

a sturdy, great product, and we would recommend buying, just keep a couple things in mind: 1) it really needs trough guard on front to prevent lots of spillage and waste. I mounted a 2 1/2 piece of wood on the front to address. 2) the rivets holding the lid hinge-rod broke off- really a pain to repair, but we JB welded the rivet cap back in place and is holding fine.

I have just 4 hens and it holds so much I hardly ever have to refill it. Best yet that can’t make a mess scratching all of the food out of it!
