Good For The Price
Yes the strap/pouch isn’t the greatest quality and could benefit from a buckle for those using it on elbows, but quality seems good enough I will get 10 bucks (delivered) worth of use out the 4 items. I have only used it for cold so cannot speak to gel pack durability for heat. I will note that the directions are general. On hi for 30 seconds followed by 10 second additions until desired temperature. But microwaves seem to heat at different rates based on power (though they probably should not do that.) Just my observation there. Maybe newer ones are consistent. Mine is broke down so if I want heat I’ll use the hot water direction.Update: have used ~2 1/2 weeks 2 times a day. Both gel packs have started to leak. So that’s ~35 freeze thaw cycles. Still it’s a fair deal at the price so just one star off. Wish the packs lasted a little longer. Partly its design flaw. They come from freezer a little stiff. I must bend them to wrap arms. The bending create pressure point on the seam. Not sure what a good solution would be, flexible fabric maybe.? As it is I’ve used black duct tape on all edges. Seems to be working fine. Probably would not work if heating them.

Great for wrapping a joint, knee, elbow, etc..
Two ice packs allow to have a fresh one available in the freezer at all times.

Great icepack, but hard to use one handed
I've been having some tendinitis lately so wanted to get an ice pack to help soothe it. This product looked great and the value is great. It works well on my arm, stays cold for a decent amount of time, and there are two of them so I can easily swap them out to get a good bit of icing on my trouble areas. My only complaint is it's very difficult to put this on one handed as I try to put it on my bicep. I really wish they had attached a simple metal or heavy plastic loop on the end so I could pull the strap on snuggly. As it is, the elastic band pulls the icepack around and makes it hard to get this on. If you're using this anywhere that you have two hands available then it's perfect.

This was an awesome find! Now if only I had found it sooner…
I had fallen down my front steps to my knees a couple weeks ago. We had ice packs but nothing better than a bathroom robe tie to try and get them to stay on my knees when I was at rest. Fail! Even at my not so old age, I get granny’s rheumatism knee pain when the weather is going to change. So it was a double whammy. I found these and I swear I heard angels singing when I thought of how much better I’d sleep. They went on my knees easy alone, and weren’t the most comfy things in the world when I had to get out of bed, but when still, they were awesome! I was pleased the cold lasted so much longer than than other products I’ve used—like for my sinuses. This product is a great example of keeping it simple and successful!

Exactly what I was looking for
My daughter fractured her knee and was directed to use an ice pack for swelling. We were having a hard time finding something that would cover the entire knee and be flexible. A regular ice pack (comparable to an ice pack for a lunch box) just wasn’t working as it didn’t “wrap” the knee and required the knee to stay in one position in order for the ice pack to stay. This new ice pack wraps the knee entirely, it’s soft, can be warmed or frozen and has straps to help keep it in place! Great value for the money. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a flexible and comfortable ice pack. Great buy.

Difficult to Use for Elbow
The ice pack isn’t flexible enough to wrap around my elbow and it causes pain where any crease forms in the gel pack. It’s extremely difficult to wrap it around your own elbow and the strap is way too long. The mesh pouch that the gel ice pack goes into isn’t protective enough for bare skin so plan to have something protective in between the wrap and your skin if you plan to ice anything for 15-20 minutes. On the positive side, the gel pack stays very cold and with the long strap, it’s better suited for your leg or even your torso if you need to ice your lower back.
