Love this dress its so beautiful
Love this dress its so beautiful! Lovely and light. I'm about a XXL/22 so I got the 1X/2X. A little snug around the bust but I'm okay with that. :) Feeling like a fairy goddess! <3

Nice dress overall
ordered s/m grey dress. pretty much fit as expected but a little big but could wear it if I wear a tank top underneath. That is because the armpit holes are REALLY BIG and everyone can see your bra. The grey was lighter in person than what I expected. It is cute. Lots of skirt. I am 5'8 140 36C. attached a pic, looks good with boots. would recommend.

Beautiful
Garden Goddess is exactly what I feel like wearing this dress.First, since my hesitation in buying this was the sizing, I'll start there. Size 14 dresses usually fit me very well, though are often snug in the bust. I was hesitant to buy this dress since 14 is pretty near the top of the L/XL size range given in the description. This dress fits me, for the most part, like a size 14 would fit me. It is not snug enough in the bust to be uncomfortable, however the corset can be tightened enough to give the breasts a lift. I am a 36DD. My guess is that someone about my size with larger cups might have some trouble fitting in the top.The dress looks like the picture. Obviously, since that model is not a size 14, the dress fits her differently than it does me. I am more of an hour glass shape and this dress really brings that out. My bust and hips are large and this dress makes them seem larger. The result is a very feminine look. I look like an old-fashioned, child-bearing type of woman in this dress. It's very sexy.I was worried that the dress would be translucent, but it does not appear to be so. No slip necessary. I'll probably still be hesitant to wear any patterned panties in it though. The dress does not seem too fragile, though the directions are to hand wash and line dry. I really like the dress and, even though I've never line dried anything in my life, I will attempt to air dry the dress indoors and preserve its life. I intend to edit this review in the future if I find the material just comes apart while washing.EDIT: The shinier material toward the bottom does fray (gets a little fuzzy), and there were loose threads around the embroidery that I snipped, but I think the dress still looks really nice. I did manage to rip the dress at a seam, but that was my fault since I was climbing over things in a storeroom and stepped on it. Since it did happen at the seam, the mend is unnoticeable. Although I am not happy about the fraying that has occurred, I still really love this dress as it's the most flattering I own and is 100% my style. I hesitate to change my rating to a 4 because I love the dress SO MUCH, but maybe I'll call it a 4.5, since it's not actually a perfect garment.

Beautiful, but a fundamental failure due to weakness of seams.
This dress fit me beautifully, was breathtaking in its fit and color. I rarely wear dresses at all, so I was delighted when this one did fit me so well. I live in Las Vegas, where it was reaching near high record temperatures and we were having an outdoor photo session. OUCH! But this lightweight material seemed perfect for it. Unfortunately, during the photo session, the seam next to the corset lacing ripped right open when I bent forward to help shepherd one of my girls. I wasn't lifting her, and there shouldn't have been any particular strain on that particular seam. If anything with me bending forward and my arms reaching down any pressure on that seam should have been LESSENED. I'm only a c cup, no Dolly Parton here, and it wasn't laced overly tight (I'm fond of breathing and it was HOT that day!) At first I thought I must have popped something in the back, until I stood up and looked down and became very glad I wore a pretty bra. Needless to say, I sat out the rest of the pictures and returned the dress promptly upon returning home. The dress is very poorly made. This is the second dress I've owned from Sakkas with this problem. They need to upgrade the thread they use for sewing the seams. They are cutting corners in an area that's largely invisible, but what good is a dress if the seams split under the slightest pressure?! People move around and live in these Sakkas! The fabrics and patterns Sakkas uses are breathtaking and wonderful, but until the strength of the thread holding the seams together improves (An extremely cheap improvement), the dresses really aren't worth having, and in wearing them outside the house you risk public embarrassment. I just happen to be very difficult to embarrass. Two stars because this dress was breathtaking on me, and I can't say that about many dresses. It's beautiful, fit well, and was breathable and roomy. It deserved some credit for that. IF the seams had held together for even an hour I would easily have given this dress 5 stars. I feel i have to make a huge deduction because the dress fundamentally failed to cover me, which is in the end why we all wear clothing.

Gorgeous dress
Very well made garment. Reasonably priced. I don't usually wear dresses but I really like the Sakkas designs and will buy more of their dresses.Bottom line: Well made, priced under $50 and care is easy: handwash in cold water - place the dress in a mesh-net fabric bag and machine wash on gentle cycle with Woolite, then hang dry.
