So far so good for me. I haven't had them very long but haven't had to give it a second thought either.

My question concerns the cutting edge- How sharp is it compared to a razor blade? I want to use this to cut hair strands from a vacuum roller brush.

I suppose that it would be sharp enough, but that would be a lot of work because the blade is so very small. I sew a lot and I use an older pair of heavy duty sewing scissors to cut the hair of 5 long haired females and one long haired dog in the household, off from my roller brush. I would invest in a very good pair of scissors for the job.
