I just go by what the packages say.

Q: My son wears a size12 shoe as a toddler. What size sock should I purchase?

We suggest going with the size showing as "Shoe Size: 2-9". The size showing is incorrect as it is actually shoe size 9 toddler to 2.5 little kids. Amazon has a size name correction software in place that changes the size name for these socks and they are not allowing sellers to correct the issue.
