Saved my bacon
I damaged the threads on a crankshaft removing a stubborn nut with an impact wrench. Could have been an engine write-off. But I painstakingly re-cut the damaged threads with this and rescued myself. Next time I'll not cut corners and just use the right puller. But in the meantime, this is a handy addition to my toolbox...
