I use this even in my cricut
I've been using this since they first came out with them... Here are some pros and consPro:Major price drop. When the cartridges first came out, magnets, laminates and specialty ones were super super expensive. 99 dollars and up and the sticker ones for the largest machine.. almost as much. Now they are more adorable and comparable to printing on magnetic sheets, dollar for dollar. What I mean is, I can print my images on card stock or paper and put through my zxyron machine and I have it protected with a gloss finish on top and the magnet on bottom. I'm not trying to cut, and laminate without wrinkles.Pro.. I can also have it go through my cricut cutter. Now the are a few extra things to know ..I use a setting that does a double cut and I don't remove it from the cutter but instead hit the cut button again so the magnet sheet is being cut with 4 passes through. Also, I use a used up mat with very good tape. (I have tried using a brand new mat but the magnet sheet still wouldn't stay attached, but I also didn't have the heavy duty cutting mat). I tape where the blade will not be cutting to hold the magnetic sheet down. I also watch it carefully going through my cricut machine just in case one of the magnets does come free. Pausing to remove the loose magnet, easy and quick. Letting the machine just continue to cut can be expensive when there is limited amount on the roll to begin with.Pro: because I am putting my printer page through the xzyron machine to make magnets, my image is getting that clear laminate cover on top that protects my image. (And I didn't create wrinkles). Yes I need to place mat tape over my registration marks and then use a black sharpie to redraw the marks, it is still simpler, less work and takes less time and less money wasted. Now sadly there are just a few cons..1.. is love to see more than just 10 feet on the roll as some of it gets wasted being struck to the cardboard tube inside. It isn't much, but every little bit counts.2.. maybe give a choice of gloss or matte finishes. Any maybe even some holographic laminates? (I'll even give them a try).So honestly folks. My first zxyron was the small orange letter Z. I used that and abused that and wow, I still have it today I do believe unless I finally gifted it to a friend in need. But I still have 2 more of the smaller ones.. I love them! Great for kids, teens, and scrapbookers and do much more! (I have the hand held punches to punch out children shapes with clothes, hair, mittens and etc and I would create sticker sets for the kids to play with and for my scrapbook to represent my kids). I then swallowed that hard pill and shelled out the money to get the biggest machine they made out on the market. One of the true originals in they blue and gray colors. (I would have loved having the choice of the colors they have now, but back then it was just the one standard color choice, if that tells you how long ago I got this big one). So when I say the prices were expensive, the repositionable and permanent sticker rolls for the big machine were 90 dollars at the now closed craft store.. and the magnetic and laminate rolls were much more. They eventually went down in price to 99 dollars but yeah it was still a dream to actually get any of those.. just what was needed. Then I find in goodwill the laminate and the magnetic still in a sealed box for 99 cents each on a half price sticker day. I paid a dollar for the both together! Now I'm hooked! Oh I still look on goodwill but to no avail.. lol so I am thankful Amazon does sell the refills! Thrilled!Honestly, if this company could even do holographic laminate and holographic magnetic, I think they would have a while new line of customers!(Because this is 9 inches long by 10 feet, I would actually trim some of the top and bottom of the page and put it through so that you are using more of the magnetic/laminate sheet. I didn't and wasted a lot from the sides. Shame on me for not thinking earlier).

This is my go to laminate for making stickers at home
I use this laminate on sticker sheets i print with my laser printer. I laminate two sheets at one time back to back. When i die cut my stickers using a cameo cutter the edges stay sealed. when i cut full bleed stickers i have to use a 45 degree blade but the edges will stay sealed. this product is also waterproof and stickers hold up well when hand washed or machine washed.

easy peasey
love it! cartridge was easy to put in. plastic seems a little thicker than last that came with laminator order.to remind everyone theirs a paper indent to line your paper up as straight as you can. i had to waste a few laminates to get bubbles out. but i am still satisfied,

It is THE WORST as an adult - I have to plug in ...
Okay. So never in my wildest dreams did I think I would EVER be writing a review for magnet laminating cartridges. I am a teacher who just switched grades this year to kindergarten. This meant I needed to re-print or print many things for the first time, including calendar pieces. My wall space is taken already and I have a HUGE whiteboard I never use - so I printed and laminated many pieces and put those obnoxious little magnet dots on them. I saw the Xyron cold press laminator and thought about how this could save me so much time and angst after school. Laminating is a job that, as a child, seemed so glamorous. It is THE WORST as an adult - I have to plug in the machine, wait for it to warm up and then wait for it to take the sheet through at a snail's pace. Xyron has saved me time. I got the magnetic cartridge thinking I'd use it every so often...but now that I've laminated my calendar pieces I want to put magnetic backing on EVERYTHING. It is worth EVERY PENNY. I just ordered three more - I never want to run out. I just wish they made the magnet refills longer for the price.

Works
Amazon says I bought a roll of this in 2015. That one wrinkled so much, I quit using it. Now, it looks like this is the only option, so I tried again.I had a major project I needed laminated and used the whole roll in one sitting. What I found was -- my machine says I should feed the paper on the left. But when I did that, it fed crooked and wrinkled horribly. But, if I aligned the paper on the right side when it fed crooked, the laminate stayed mostly smooth. As another reviewer noted, you cannot write on this and I've found very few tapes that will adhere to it. I'm ordering another roll to complete my project, then it might be time to look at a new machine.

Perfect for Save the Dates
We used this for our wedding's save the dates. We had a photo shoot and used the pictures to design our own save the dates, had them printed at one of those big stores, and ran them through the Xyron with the magnetic backing. We ran two at a time, side by side, cutting only after 10 were run through (to save magnet) and it worked beautifully! Maybe 10% of the finished ones had issues, but the rest were perfect or nice enough to send out anyway. We had a ton of compliments about these save the dates, our family and friends surprised to hear that they were homemade. My now husband wanted to leave a small border around the pictures, but they look excellent when cut along the edge, and have held up perfectly. Make sure you're not pulling anything too hard or you'll throw off the alignment and ruin the roll and most of your magnets. Very easy to use and good quality.
