Pleasantly surprised, the mug looked better even than in the photos It has a very smooth and pleasing to the eye design. It feels tactile and although smooth, has a slightly grippy feel to it as well. I particularly enjoyed the flip top drinking area. It was smooth , with the flip top lodging down securely after; It seems leak proof. I ordered the colour blue. There is a slight blue tint, but it is dark. And I preferred this to a lighter colour, and it looks neat and classy` It keeps hot for 15 to 20 minutes, -ish- but not hot enough that I couldn't hold it. After about 45 mins, the coffee is luke warm. I am guessing, but the amount of coffee it takes is about the same as a normal size tea cup would hold. (ish) Maybe it a little more, but not much. This is not for keeping your drink hot for hours, it’s more like a handy reusable cup to keep your drink warm for an hour. It suits my needs for making a coffee from home and have it warm when I’m at work, saving me from buying from a coffee shop, and it doesn’t leak at all which is just what I wanted as I pack it in my backpack.

Quality product. Good size. Doesnt keep drinks very warm. But comfortable to hold and looks the part.

Joseph Joseph isn’t the cheapest brand out there, but I do love their style and ranges, and have a number of their items that have lasted years and are still going. I’ve had my cup for five months so far. It’s always cleaned on the dishwasher top shelf, and still doesn’t leak (first thing I checked after reading the reviews and purchasing). It feels like it sort of locks in place when it’s fully tightened, so potentially reviews stating leaks could mean faulty batches, or lids not done up fully. I’ve had it sitting loose in my bag with liquid in, and bag contents have been absolutely fine. It takes a small Starbucks drink. I’m looking to upgrade to the next size, maybe when offer next! If you want an insulated cup this isn’t for you. I find it retains the heat well enough for commuting, train travel, or wandering around window shopping. This is ideal for my needs.

Great little mug at first, with a good seal and a gorgeous colour. Very easy to wash and keep clean, with no crevices for mold to grow in. However, it doesn’t keep hot drinks warm for very long, and the lid can sometimes flip open when it is in bags or gets caught on something. The lid flipped open when it was in my bag, and water ended up leaking all over my books and laptop. Never used it again after that! It is a great mug if you are just looking to use it at home or take it hiking/camping. But please beware when putting electronics in the same bag. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

This travel mug is a joy to use. Purchased as a replacement for my aged Contigo Byron, which always leaked if not kept upright, this mug hasn't leaked so far and is much nicer to drink from. It's stainless steel so my tea stays hot for ages (I wouldn't bother buying the coloured plastic version) and it is easier to clean than my previous mug as it isn't quite so tall and narrow, so I can get the scrubbing sponge into the bottom of it. It also fits perfectly into my bag, rucksack pocket and car cupholder. I usually keep using my travel mug when I get to the office or wherever, and this one is far better to use even with the lid off, as it has a kinder, slightly rounded rim. I know you can buy cheaper than Joseph Joseph, but you usually get what you pay for. I don't often bother writing reviews, but there were mixed ones for this product so I felt it was worth adding my two penn'orth in the hope it helps someone. Those who have said the drink doesn't stay warm must have bought the plastic version, and the person who said it leaked everywhere presumably didn't screw the lid on properly or had a faulty item.

Started leaking on the second use

Brought this to replace a regular travel coffee cup. The screw top and lid give a bit of spill protection if knocked over. This is not a thermal cup just a regular cup, you make a coffee, fill it up and go. Therefore it’s quite expensive for what it is. The positives for me, 1 - it’s dishwasher safe. Have washed quite a few times now. 2 - it feels compact although I measured with a jug and it comfortably holds a 340ml coffee with frothed milk 3 - lid is screwed on so it’s not possible for the lid to slip off while you sip. Overall happy with it and also got the pink one for the mrs

brauche für den Außendienst oder für Ausflüge sehr oft einen Coffee to go. hatte zuerst überlegt den kleineren Becher zu nehmen aber mich anhand der Rezensionen doch für diesen Edelstahlbecher entschieden. ist einfach praktischer, da man gleich eine etwas größere Menge dabei hat & auch für längere Fahrten / Ausflüge gut ausgerüstet ist. hält recht gut warm, tropft nicht & der Verschluss geht im Rucksack nicht auf. bin sehr happy damit (

I got this mug for a travel mug when I fly. I LOVE THIS MUG! It is 100% polymer, so you can microwave it and it is highly durable when packed in a backpack or luggage. I normally use an 18oz Yeti that keeps coffee warm for a few hours. This is a different mug in that it is smaller and does not have vacuum insulation. My coffee is hot for about 45 minutes which is plenty of time to drink it. I would rate it as 3 times more insulated as a ceramic mug but about 1/3 as insulated as a stainless insulated coffee mug. The size is perfect for traveling and making instant coffee a couple of times a morning, any bigger and it wouldn't pack well and would cool too fast. The seal has been perfect so far, easy to drink from, and no weird flavors.

Es un muy buen producto, es cómodo y práctico. Debes tener en cuenta que solo cabe una tasa de café y no mantiene la temperatura de los liquidos por mucho tiempo, ya que su finalidad es esa. Lo que debes tener cuidado es solo hasta donde lo llenas, pues si rebazas el límite se riega el contenido. Es bueno, pero si se me hace un poco caro, eso si, es de buen calidad.

ステンレス筐体のフタがダメになったので、ダメ元でプラ筐体のフタを試してみると、写真のとおり普通に入りました！ 大きさはほぼ同じですが、滑り止め加工されていて、ツルツルしたステンレス筐体とは対照的。 せっかくなので保温性を比較すると、30分後でも10度以上差が出ました。 普通のプラ容器でも同様だったので、プラ筐体は保温性は期待しない方が良さそうです。 ちなみに、温かい飲み物の場合ですが…。 フタを開け閉めする際は、フリップを上げた状態で行うと良いです。 蓋と本体の隙間に液体が入り込むのを軽減できます。
