Clock has a loud and sharp alarm. It keep time, is easy to set, and works great.

It's loud😊 For my teenage grand daughter, she use it for room decor but she likes it!

I love the vintage look of this alarm clock. It's easy to set and seems to keep good time, but the ticking is louder than I was expecting. Definitely not "silent". The actual alarm is quite loud, which is a good thing for a very heavy sleeper like me.

Love my new clock! It is definitely sturdy, seems to be made well, and will wake up the heaviest of sleepers. My husband is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids during the daytime, but Even HE can hear this alarm. We are very pleased with our new clock!

Clock doesn't work right. Doesn't keep time right at all and has caused me several missed appointments. This is my second review of problems with this clock. Just looked it up and can't return it. Don't buy this clock!!!

I was looking for a clock that ISN'T silent as I find the slow tick of a clock very soothing. I tried some vintage clocks that made sound but they were either too quiet or had a duplicated ticking sound. They also needed to be wound daily. This clock has the perfect ticking sound that I was looking for, is battery operated (no winding!), and is a beautiful nod to the past and the future. Sorry to the silent clock crew - this one's probably not for you! :)
