Effectively exfoliates without irritation

This product is best if you use the whole Obagi regime but is also great as an exfoliator without the other Obagi products. Keeps my skin texture soft and best to use under a sunscreen or moisturizer. I use it during the day and a retinol at night. Not too harsh for my skin.

Obagi's NuDerm line has a 6 step program in maintaining healthy skin in daytime and nighttime regiment. The first steps is cleanser (bottle has number 1 on it) and it is followed by toner (number 2). Then there is Exfoderm exfolianf (number 3) that is followed by the moisturizer (product number 4 that is a topic of this review).. The Exfoderm exfoliant removes dead skin cells and any additional dirt and makeup that make be stuck in the pores. The lightweight lotion, which is this product, has the following ingredients water, glycerin, phytic acid, canola oil and sodium hydroxide. The remaining ingredients are preservatives. This lotion will keep skin bright and healthy looking. It comes in a plastic upward facing bottle in a generous 2oz size that will last for 3-4 months is used twice daily.Obagi products are medical grade products. Some of them I love, and others I am becoming ambivalent about because they contain parabens. Parabens can cause hormonal changes in the body that in some people can lead to cancer. Any time I pick out Obagi product, I double check the label and buy it only if parabens are not listed. This same line also offer sun protection bottle, which I recommend one adds after applying lotion to protect the skin from the damaging UV rays. Bottle can be used at home or carried in a gum bag when you are on the go and need to reapply the lotion after your visit to the gym.

I’ve been using Obagi nuderm products for many years. I haven’t found another product that is more effective.

I have been testing this product for 16 days. In the morning, I first apply my hyaluronic acid serum. Then I apply this lotion. The combination of the two products is making my skin smoother and healthier looking. I will continue to use this lotion daily.
