Excellent Filters for Aeropress
These filters work great with the Areopress coffee press. In fact, thay are better than those supplied by Aeropress, as they are very slightly larger and stay in the filter holder without having to moisten them when using the inverted method for brewing. Thiey are also slightly thicker and I have not had to waste any of them in preparing my coffee. I highly recommend these filters for the Areopress coffee maker. The two pack is also reasonably priced.

Aeropress are paper & so are these⭐️
These are all called microfilters, probably because they’re small. 🤷🏼♀️ Neither the Aeropress nor these are microfiber, but in September, a reviewer claimed these are no good compared to the microfiber originals. *sigh*I didn’t think about how dreadful plastic microfiber filters would be until I began writing this review since I was thinking only about the reviewer’s misunderstanding and the waste of plastic if the original are, indeed, microfiber. Doesn’t the reviewer know about the Great PacificGarbage Patch, siblings and cousins in every gyre of every ocean and (many) seas? Why would they believe using little disposable plastic disks every day is sustainable? People do, but … really? On further reflection, would you really want to press your coffee through *microfiber plastic*? Microplastics are a scourge upon the planet and not just the older ones with BPA. We should have realized that a while ago, before they started showing up in *placentas*- yikes! (Maybe I should check Snopes on that, but still … they’re everywhere.) Pressing hot liquid through a disk of disposable plastic sounds like a great way to get a daily dose of little, teeny, tiny bits of matter I don’t want in my delicious coffee. It’s a good thing they’re all paper. There are so many reviews, and not just on Amazon, that don’t pass the “smell” test. (Where on earth did “smell test” come from‽) I read 1⭐️, 3🌟, and sometimes 5⭐️ reviews (for important purchases), often to figure out if the bad ones are due to user error or misunderstanding, and y’know they frequently are. These paper “microfilters” work just fine, and I prefer them over the Aeropress OEM for the pure joy of their soothing, unbleached taupe color.
